This tour was billed as “small group.” It ended up being just my wife and incredibly personalized service! Hosanna was an excellent guide! Knowledgeable and well spoken. He met us as we were walking off the ship and escorted us to our safari and Zulu cultural adventures, getting us back to the ship 10 hours later. A truly full-day trip. Well worth it! Yes, I heartily recommend this to others.

Outstanding. On a terribly hot day we really did not expect to see anything and for the first hour our prediction held true. However thanks to some skillful guiding things changed and we saw the all - BIG FIVE and some of the less famous all up close and personal. We were not jostling for position with a number of other vehicl A wonderful experience. We were there ona brutally hot day and did not expect to see anything. However thanks to excellent guiding from someone who obviously knows the park and the animals like the back of his hand we saw them all - BIG FIVE and their less famous friends and enemies up lose an personal without being jostled by numerous other vehicles trying to see the same animals. An added bonus was two refreshment breaks when we were able to kick back in the shade of a tree and enjoy the moment.

My husband and I had the privilege of working with two incredible guides during our safari. Jan picked us up at the airport and he shared some incredible details about the land, people and just ordinary facts about South Africa. In that drive we felt we knew much more about what to expect during our week! He also walked us through the Zulu program, showed us how to navigate our car to St. Lucia, and where to find the mall! John, our safari guide, was the best possible!! We saw 4 out the big 5 - missing the leopard! Altogether we saw around 14 different animals and birds. He was so genuine and cared about all the animals well being. We learned more in that day trip than we could have studying a textbook. He knew about the life styles of the various animals, what to look for as they grazed, how they lived together.... We will never forget our day with these two wonderful men. It was definitely a highlight and one we will treasure forever. They both mentioned that going on a safari can be an addiction! We certainly see how! We would encourage everyone who visits this special country to book with Viator! Oh, John also prepared a wonderful BBQ lunch!! It was over and above what usually happens on trips! We would give this company a 10 if there were enough stars!!!
