This experience takes place in a very sketchy part of town. I did not feel very safe walking around in this area. The stories were very interesting. The tour itself was fine.

Was entertained a bit. I think our guide was probably kinda new. He tried but just needed some more time. I tipped because I appreciated his work.

I selected this ghost tour because it received five stars on Tripadvisor. Lessons learned not to 100% trust what other people have to say about tours! Overall, the tour was a big disappointment. The tour guide tried his best, I guess, but the script was so poorly executed. We just walked around looking at various dark sites for an hour in a shady part of town. I think if the scripts were better and the tour guide was more into it, it would have been salvageable. My wife and I took our daughter on this tour as part of his birthday, and it was a waste of our time and money. We were the only tourists who gave the tour guide a tip. The other tourists bailed right away!

Fun tour. We were a small group of 4 and our guide Bryce T did an excellent job of keeping us engaged. He shared haunted stories but kept it fun and entertaining. A nice way to start the fall season!

I arrived early at the specified location stop awaiting my tour guide who arrived late. He approached and referred to me by the wrong name. He was not wearing the ghost tour T-shirt the email said he would wearing, nor carrying the lantern he was supposed to be carrying. When I questioned him on this he said he was new and his uniform had not arrived. At this point, I’m the only signed up for the tour, with a strange guy I’ve never met who is not wearing company’s uniform in part of the city that was mostly closed with very like activity. I told the tour guide, I did not feel comfortable going in the tour with him and wanted a refund. I contacted the company and have not received any sort of response. This tour felt unsafe and extremely unprofessional. Tourist beware!

Our walking tour guide, Isabelle, did a great job sharing fun & interesting stories about local legends of haunted spaces and ghosts in one of Richmond's many historic neighborhoods. Isabelle also did a great job of engaging the tour participants with fun questions (e.g., what are your favorite scary films?) in between stops along the tour, which was a great team-building activity. Highly recommend!

My husband and I went on this tour for our anniversary--it was our first time doing a ghost tour, so admittedly we have nothing to compare it to, and this just might not be our cup of tea. Bryce T. was our tour guide. From the start I could tell this might be rough. Usually, tour guides are good at engaging you from the very start, getting a couple good jokes in as they set expectations for the tour. Bryce's spiel was disjointed and if there were jokes intermixed, they didn't land. The stories at the different stops were either so drawn out and repetitive that my mind started wandering before he finished (almost like he didn't have enough material so he was trying to draw it out), or they were just scraps of stories jumbled together, jumping time periods as he remembered different bits. I kept on hoping it might get better and it did slightly (it was a big group so we were seriously tempted just to slip away). I checked previous reviews before scheduling the tour and Bryce generally gets positive reviews. Maybe this was an off night.

The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star review is that our guide needed a microphone. The city traffic noises and the size of our group made it hard to hear when he talked as we walked. Otherwise, Brice was a very entertaining guide. He told very interesting stories with a touch of humor. Fun tour! Wear comfy shoes.
