My wife and I opted to do a private tour and loved every minute. Trinh was delightful and grew up in hoi an so her local knowledge was second to none. Her English was also excellent!! Her quest to take you off the beaten track resulted in a easy, 20km flat route through Hoi An and the villages beyond. We did not meet a single tourist for our whole tour! We got a brilliant insight in to local village life without feeling that you were just gawping! Villagers genuinely intrigued by us, Trinh translated all so we could start to interact! Delicious breakfast and lunch, transport from hotel, water all included! River taxi back into hoi an also a treat!!! Thanks again Trinh, best tour we have done in Vietnam!

If you are looking for quality and authenticity this tour is for you ! We were in a small group (only one other couple) and we had two guides : Trinh and Moon, who speak a perfect English. They took us through Hoi An countryside, in small villages, far away from all the tourist attractions and we were the only tourists in the area (the villagers even seemed surprise to see us). We visited 3 local families who showed us their handicrafts (I won't spoil you but two of them were about food and it was an interesting and yummy experience !). The two guides actually know these families, it's not a show for tourists : they really share something with us and we got to talk about Vietnamese weddings, ancestors worship, and so many other things ! We highly recommend this bicycle tour if you want to : - Discover Hoi An off the beaten tracks - Take your time and talk with local guides about Vietnamese culture - Eat good things (the lunch was very good too !) - Meet local villagers - Experiment traditional handicrafts with smiling people eager to let you try. Cam on for this amazing day !

We did this tour while on our honeymoon. Our trip to Hoi An was great but the highlight was definitely our bike tour with Trinh and her assistant (don’t remember her name). Trinh was so lovely and full of information about the community and all of the culture. She grew up and lives in the area so it was truly like spending the day with a friend who wanted to show you around their home town. The ride itself was beautiful and quite easy with no hills. We had a rainy day but it didn’t slow us down and they had rain ponchos and bags for our stuff. We would do it all again in a heartbeat and wish we had a guide like Trinh to show us around every city we go. If you’re considering this just book it. It was great to get out of the busy parts of Hoi An and get a glimpse into the beautiful more peaceful countryside.

Myself and 7 mates were on a golf trip to Hoi An while we were on a rest day we decided to go on a tour. We heard about this tour with the best tour guide in HoiAn called Trinh she picked us up from our resort on time & a great smile. Trinh will take you to places that other tours have never been or thought of all 8 of us would recommend this tour & look forward to when we visit again to catch up. Thanks again Trinh.

Amazing bike tour experience that I wouldn’t have been able to experience otherwise. I’ve been in Hoi An for about a month now and I hoped to experience something more authentic than just going around old town - and I got exactly what I hoped for. The ride allows you to access the more local, countryside of Hoi An which would’ve been extremely difficult to find on your own as a non-native. The best part of it is that you get to talk to real locals, who’s been living here for generations, and get to experience a tiny bit of their part of contribution to the community. It definitely isn’t one of those bike tours where you ride through the closest rice field and take a photo and I absolutely loved it! For those who want to experience the more authentic side of Hoi An away from the old quarter, I highly recommend this tour.

Trinh really has a spectacular and authentic bike tour. Three of us joined her to explore the countryside like locals. As we explored the countryside off the beaten path, it really became clear that Trinh has built up a great relationship with the locals. Each person we visited welcomed us into their homes like friends and they were happy to show us their activities and way of life. We got to see (and help make) a number of food items as well as see (and contribute to) the process of sedge mat weaving. The bike ride itself was really fun as well; through rice fields, peanut fields, across bridges, along the river and down shaded paths. To finish it all we had a very tasty lunch followed by a boat ride back to the Old Town. Another great thing is that Trinh is a local supports the local community! So you can rest assured that your money is going toward a good cause and not to a big company. I highly, highly recommend this tour if you want to see the authentic Vietnam, to get out and see the way people live in the countryside away from the tourist areas.

The tour was a really nice mix of cycling, culture and food. We got an insight in to the local Vietnamese traditions (food, weaving, places of worship, local facts), had a great lunch next to the river and the staff were so friendly. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hoi An.

If you want to get away from all the usual attractions and see how the local people live, this is the tour for you. We took a bicycle tour through Hoi An’s amazing countryside and met craftspeople and cooks in their homes who were busy making their traditional products for market. The tour ended with a delicious lunch in a cool, tranquil setting on the river followed by a relaxing boat ride back home (with cold beer of course). I learned a lot including that my cake making skills leave a lot to be desired. Our guide, Trinh was lovely, chatty, fluent in English and very experienced. She can also provide tips on where to find the best local everything! Oh, and some of your money will also go right back to the people to support the communities you visit. Enjoy 😊

This was my favorite day so far in Vietnam. From the start Trinh and her staff made me feel well taken care of with bottled water, adjusting the nice bike for me and being very clear on directions as we rode through the busy streets of Hoi An. I had never even ventured on this side of town in the 2 weeks I've been here and the small villages and roads were incredibly charming. The stops they have curated along the way really give you a feel for what daily life is like for the locals. We got to try our hand in making rice crackers, sweet cake desserts, working the loom and had a delicious, scenic lunch. I fell in love with Sugar Cane Juice (dangerous ha) and felt mutual respect and admiration from the people we visited. I am very impressed with New Eyes Travel and now I am excited to try the dining tour as well. Oh! and part of your payment goes to support the locals which I thought was an added bonus.
