Strap on MSR Evo snowshoes—designed for comfort and ease—and follow your local Finnish guide as they lead you through silent forests, sharing stories of the region's culture, myths, and natural wonders. The duration of the excursion is 2.5–4 hours plus transfers, depending on your preferences and the weather. Sometimes, the exceptionally beautiful landscapes inspire us to linger a little longer on Riisitunturi. The route includes a stop where you’ll enjoy a traditional Finnish trail meal by a campfire. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or a first-time snowshoer, this experience is designed to suit all skill levels. A small group (max 8 people) ensures that everyone has an amazing adventure tailored just for them. 5.00My family and I went on the sunset tour to Riisitunturi Park with Piritta and it was a unique experience that I will always carry in my heart ♥️ . The park itself is already magical and then with the colors of the sunset all this is accentuated. We were very lucky with the weather and Piritta was the best guide you could wish for. He left us total freedom in exploring the forest and told us many curiosities about the place. The pancakes she made for us were delicious and were super tasty 😋. His availability was total, he also asked us if we wanted to stop again to admire the stars or a possible aurora as darkness fell (despite the scheduled time for the excursion had passed a while). I really enjoyed this and so what about, nothing to do with tours organized with larger agencies. If you want to have an authentic, professional and private experience in the Riisitunturi park go with Piritta!😊❤️

5.00Piritta was absolutely amazing. We got in touch even before my trip to Lapland, and she was always extremely kind, helpful and available, answering all my questions and making me feel well prepared and at ease. My husband and I did a private tour with her to visit Riisitunturi National Park, and it was truly a special experience. The snowshoe hike to the top was beautiful, and once we arrived, Piritta surprised us by cooking delicious pancakes, served with jam and warm blueberry juice. It was such a magical moment, surrounded by Arctic nature. Everything was perfect and thoughtfully organized. Piritta is not only a fantastic guide, but also a very special person who puts genuine care and passion into what she does. Highly recommended — an experience we will never forget! ❄️💕

5.00We had a wonderful day in beautiful nature! Our guide, Piritta, made sure we had everything we needed, she explained how the equipment worked and told us interesting facts about the area and nature during our trip. She made sure the speed and intensity of the trip matched our capabilities. We were well informed before and during the trip. Pick up from our accomodation was convenient and on time. Our guide brought and prepared an excellent lunch (with wonderful homemade blackcurrant hot drink) that we enjoyed during the trip. I can highly recommend this tour company and this activity!

5.00Super knowledgeable, nice, very friendly guide. She is really a professional and told us the authentic history of Lapland. I absolutely recommend her for an authentic experience in the parks. I forgot, super good lunch, with a fire lit in the woods, instant pancakes and incredible reindeer salami sandwiches!
