Presentation of the square with its major attractions such as the Teatro Municipal (the Rio opera house), the Museu das Bellas Artes, La Camara Municipal, La Biblioteca Nacional, Le Teatro Odeon (the only cinema in the square still in operation)
Escadaria Selaron
Leaving Santa Teresa to go to Lapa at the foot of the hill, we will pass by the famous multicolored staircase of George Selaron, Chilean artist who created it in about twenty years.

5.00Private guided tour in French with Philippe What a rewarding day! First, visit the Santa Marta favela, in the presence of Marco, a favela guide who makes the effort to learn and speak a few words in French! Philippe is here to complete. Then visit the historic center , with lunch at the Cais in the Lapa district, very good modern Brazilian cuisine. Philip gave us very wise advice for the visit of Christ the Redeemer and the sugarloaf the next day, as well as places to listen to Brazilian music and many other recommendations to know. Happy continuation Philippe!

5.00We made 2 days of tours of Rio with Ivan, super guide who passed on his passion for his city with all his knowledge: - historical details (different influences on the creation of the city and repercussions on the country) - history of art, especially through the different churches and architectures - geographical wealth and monuments (beaches, lagoons, sugar bread, Corcovado...) - botanical wealth (Botanical Garden, Tijuca National Park...) - gastronomic discoveries ... - discovery of a very interesting Favella (Santa Marta) - discovery of the typical neighborhood of Santa térésa ... in short a magnificent stay of 4 days in total in this magical city ... 5.00Our trip to Brazil was fully prepared by the team of Good Guide in Rio. We are a couple who traveled with our 2-year-old son. We were able to work with Antoine until we came up with a proposal that suited us. Everything has been organized perfectly, from private transfers (with baby seat) to the various tours of Rio and Paraty. We were accompanied by Ivan during our visit to Rio who passed on to us the love of his country and its history. If you are comparing agencies, do not hesitate, go to them!
