We had a great time on this tour--Santa Teresa is a charming neighborhood, Lapa has an interesting history, and Damiana was a charming and well-informed guide! She knows so much about Brazilian history, music, art, religions, and other topics, and I thoroughly enjoyed the time with her! She found great Samba music for us, even on a Monday, including places mainly known to locals. I highly recommend this tour!

This was a wonderful way to get a taste of Rio’s nightlife and different kinds of samba! Damiana is a wonderful guide - so knowledgeable and energizing. She provides terrific history and background that helps us appreciate more deeply what we are seeing. We went to places we never would have found on our own.

We highly recommend this tour. The food was amazing, the guide was entertaining and knowledgeable and checking out the areas at night with the music was a treat.

This tour was extremely fun and Damania and Florencio tours definitely showed me how versatile Lapa can be. I was ushered through different arenas where I was able to shop late, encounter and be part of an outdoor dance party, encounter a swing party, and watch live samba. It is a fun night time event I would recommend for anyone.

Was our first tour when we got to Rio and we absolutely loved it. Be ready to walk and to be immersed in the world of La Favela. Our tour guide Alberto was excellent!!

I was in Rio by myself (5 days) and provided by Damiana Florencio (Florencios Tour) private tours, had such a good time!. She had been waiting and pick me up at the airport at 5 a.m. Among other tours I did the Favela Art’s Walking Tour. Visiting the Morrinho Project at Favela Pereira da Silva was, I have to confess, an extremely interesting experience. I was the first Croat who has been in this favela. The meal was great and view was magnificent- the Guanabara Bay and Sugarloaf. I highly recommend this favela tour experience with Damiana and Florencios!
