My husband and I went on this tour today with our guide, Joey, and there’s no words to describe this experience! Nearly all of the views are breathtaking, with several leaving you asking: “How the heck is this real?” The rock jumping definitely involves some intermediate skill climbing or just being in good/athletic shape and a good listener to the guide — but it’s totally worth it. Say yes to it all (even the 30ft jump in Charvo Azul), and be shocked at what your body can do as you plunge into the depths! Indian Cave is also a truly beautiful, picturesque location worthy of its own visit. It’s overall a long but amazing day. Outside of the above, Joey in particular was amazing — very personable and extremely knowledgeable of the local area, fauna and wildlife. Plus he was so accommodating in helping us with a luggage situation. We’re so glad we did this tour (never could have done it ourselves) and would highly recommend!

Our family had a great day trekking through rivers and caves. Joma was a wonderful tour guide- kind and super knowledgeable. Our tour was the perfect blend of adventure, and natural/cultural history. I would highly recommend for future travelers.

This was a full day tour that included everything that was promised. Jose was patient and kind with my 8 year old who was a bit nervous about the river caves and slow moving. We had an incredible experience!

This was an absolutely amazing experience. The tour I did was caving at charco azul and indian cave. We spent the day with Joma as our tour operator who actually owns this business. She is an amazing woman who is very kind and informative. We only had 6 people on our tour which was very nice. The tour started at Charco Azul where we went through 3 caves, saw/went under 2 waterfalls, and jumped off two small cliffs. There were beautiful bats, cool formations, and just overall it was a wonderful time. After that we got a lunch at a local restaurant. It was very yummy and inexpensive. We finished the day by checking out Indian cave which had beautiful archways and impressive petroglyphs from the Taino people. There was an optional rock climb/shimmy to get into the middle of the cave which was really fun. We were able to see a bat nursing her baby! Overall an amazing experience and I couldn't recommend her and this tour enough. I would recommend against any tubing tours. We saw them all and the tubing seemed absolutely pointless because the current wasn't even moving.

Amazing adventure! Our guide Joma was great. Communicated in advance. Picked us up right at our hotel. Spoke fluent English and Spanish. Drove safely. And most amazing- took pictures of the entire adventure! We didn't have to worry about bringing our phones because she took photos and videos and shared them afterwards. The Charco Azul felt like being in a Jurassic Park movie. The lush green and the caves was an amazing contrast. Our group of 6 had ages 13 to mid-60s and everyone was able to climb and jump and swim and hike. It felt like real adventure. We saw bats and centipedes and fish and petroglyphs, Under and behind waterfalls. Just really wonderful. Probably our favorite experience on the week's vacation. And definitely something you cannot do without a guide. Cuevos del Indio (Indian Cave) was also gorgeous. We learned all the history of the place and the Taino people, why they used the caves, etc. Learned about the geology of the cave formation, etc. We stopped for lunch at a BBQ-type place. We were the only tourists in the place (which is how I like it). Roast chicken, rice and beans, ribs, fried fish, fried plantains, etc. All very good and reasonably priced. Nobody could finish all the food. Got dropped off right back at our hotel. Highly recommend! I will definitely do this again if I go back to PR.

My son (13yo) and I LOVED this tour. Really one of a kind. For Charco Azul: Swimming through the caves, seeing the fruit bats, the stalactites in the cave and the lush tropical forest outside was like a scene from Jurassic Park. Joma took a lot of photos which was great because with the water we didn't bring out phones. For Cuevo del Indio the scenery and the history of the place was really striking. Joma was a great guide. She answered as wide range of questions about culture, history, geology, biology. Very knowledgeable. If you have any balance issues you might consider bringing a hiking pole. If you are normally chilly, maybe a shortie wet suit. I was VERY cold by the end of the caving portion. Overall would highly recommend and if I come back to Puerto Rico would take this tour again.

We had Jose as our tour guide for the Indian caves and charcol azul. He was absolutely amazing. He was very knowledgeable and detailed in his explanations. He bonded very closely with our family. He was willing to take pictures for us. He made sure everything was safe and he was very funny. It felt like he was one of our friends and not a stranger. While we were on the shuttle ride, Jose asked us many questions and was very personable and he seemed like he really wanted to get to know us instead of just leading us on a tour. We will definitely book with this company again.
