Hana Highway - Road to Hana
The Hana Highway is a 64.4-mile-long (103.6 km) , longest, coastal scenic route in the world. To the east of Kalepa Bridge, the highway continues to Kipahulu as Hawaii Route 31 (the Piilani Highway). This tour covers 59 single lane bridges, over 640 turns and curves, through lush, tropical rainforest. Most of the concrete and steel bridges date back to 1910.
Paia
Just four miles into your drive to Hāna from Kahului, you'll discover the historic town of Pāʻia on Maui's north coast. Divided into Lower Pāʻia and Pāʻia, this hospitable community was once a booming plantation town during the heyday of Maui's sugar cane industry. Today Pāʻia is a town of colorful, rustic storefronts filled with local art galleries, one-of-a-kind shopping boutiques and restaurants.

It's a beautiful trip. I was glad to leave the driving to a pro, and Roger also told us a lot about what we were seeing and Maui more generally.

Quinn was knowledgeable. Three of us on the tour experienced motion sickness and he was gracious to provide ginger chews and goggles to ease the discomfort. He spoke easily and entertained by sharing music history along the journey. Lunch and snacks were provided. It was a great day.

We had the best day not having to worry about driving all of those turns! Our guide Gaura was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and really made the trip amazing! We loved the stop at Aunty Sandy’s banana bread YUMMY!! The black sand beach and lava tube was beautiful to see! Highly recommend this trip

Exceeded expectations! Roger our tour guide was amazing — he was punctual, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I was picked up on time from the hotel, and the entire pickup loop was smooth and efficient. The vehicle was very clean and has nice AC and ventilation, and Roger’s driving skill is as amazing as past reviews have mentioned. Because Sep is not a busy season, our group was perfectly sized for interaction and logistic management. The tour schedule was reasonably designed and covered a number of tourist attractions. Staying time at each attraction was also reasonably planned. Because of the early start, we were able to witness the sunrise landscape of the West Maui Mountains, which was amazing. The highlight was a ~40min lunch stay at the Waiʻānapanapa State Park. The sandwich was delicious — had expected it to be just a vanilla sandwich, but the ingredients (veggies and meat) in there were so fresh and it was definitely one of the best I’ve ever had.
