On our ATV Jungle Tour guest will get 1 hour in a half of riding time through dirt roads and rough terrains while enjoying the beautiful scenery and views of nature riding through a local town to the beach side to take photos of a shipwreck. Once finished with the ATV's we will take you on an Island Tour where you will learn about our culture and lifestyle, visit the Chocolate Factory and Rum Cake Factory, for tastings and to the most beautiful sightseeing views and attractions of the Island. Souvenir shopping at the famous Rusty Fish local craft Market and stop over to the Roatan colorful sign for photos. On this adventure guest will visit the Sloths & Monkeys hang out and Animal Sanctuary were they will get to see the majestic Sloth in it's natural habitat, among many other exotic animals like the capuchin monkey and colourful macaws among many more. We have the best prices guaranteed and all of our drivers and guides speak English and will accompany you all through your Excursion.

5.00The tour was excellent. We loved the hour and a half of ATV-ing. And the animal enclosure was so much fun. The monkeys and birds crawling around on our heads and shoulders; and petting the sloths. Our driver was Selina Lucas - what a joy!!

5.00The ATV experience was awesome, had been a lot of rain on the island so the trails were a little beat up but that didn't stop us from seeing a bunch of really cool parts of the island. The animal sanctuary was really cool and learned a lot about the animals in captivity. The chocolate / rum tours weren't really a "tour" in my opinion just more or less a shop to taste test and buy things but that's just the nature of it. We had a private tour cause there were no cruise ships that day which was really cool, felt very personal. Thanks!

4.00The ATV part of the trip was definitely the BEST part! And seeing the sloth and monkey was OK. The chocolate factory really wasn’t much of anything. Neither was the rum tasting. If I booked again, I would just do the ATV part of it. The young boy who took us out for the ATV tour was excellent!!!

5.00Arnie was a blast! You know the folks you meet and they have an energy about them? That’s Arnie! Everything was seamless from pickup to drop off. He wanted us to go at our own pace, made sure we had a blast, and was a delight to talk to. I’m so glad we went with Breakaway! You cover so much - ATVs (bring a change of clothes in case you get muddy or it rains!), sloths & monkeys, rum, and chocolate.

If you’re going to Roatán, do yourself a favor and book Breakaway Tours — and ask for Mario. This was true VIP service in every sense of the word. Mario was an incredible host. He knew everyone on the island and honestly felt like a local celebrity — doors opened, smiles everywhere, and seamless experiences the entire day. The service was completely personal, not rushed, not scripted, and definitely not a cattle-call tour. Just me and my husband, exactly how it should be. He stopped along the way to take photos, took us souvenir shopping with locals, and made sure every moment felt special. The chocolate factory was amazing — they were literally making chocolate in the kitchen while we were there. We picked up chocolate tea (a must!) and of course plenty of fresh chocolate. The rum factory? Perched on top of a mountain with absolutely stunning views — one of those moments where you just stop and take it all in. And the ATV tour… WOW. Through the jungle, up into the mountains, through a local community called Prospera, and down to a local beach. Thrilling, scenic, and authentic. Not a group. No waiting. Just adventure. The perfect ending? Hanging out with spider monkeys and sloths — because why not make an already perfect day even better? Roatán is incredible, and Breakaway Tours made it unforgettable. Personal, professional, and unforgettable. Ask for Mario. You won’t regret it.

5.00We had a wonderful tour that started with a fun ATV ride through the jungle, town and beach. The guides were so helpful and really looked out for each of us. It was my 12 year old granddaughter’s first time so one of the guides rode on the back to make sure she was safe. We visited and petted sloths and monkeys next. Interesting stops at rum factory and chocolate one where we really enjoyed the frozen chocolate covered fruit treats. There was a gas station with food stands inside across the street from the chocolate place where we got some great honduran coffee, local food and pizza. One of the benefits of this type of tour which is with your own private guide with just your group. We will be going back on another cruise next New year’s eve and will definitely book again with this group. Great value for the money and nice amount of time spent a little over 4 hours with time left to shop around port before we boarded ship. Our tour guide was JJ and he was fantastic!

5.00We did the full town and ATV tour in Roatán, Honduras, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Jason was our tour guide, and he was absolutely amazing. He was very patient, extremely knowledgeable, and gave us a detailed overview of the entire route and the island before we got started. Jason spoke perfect English, which made the tour easy to follow and enjoyable. He took us all around town, showed us key spots, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe the entire time. He truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. Highly recommend this tour — and if you can, ask for Jason. He made the experience exceptional!
