  Fordie was an absolutely incredible guide. He was always pleasant and very accommodating. He was extremely knowledgeable and made it very interesting. The zip line was off the charts fun. The guys who guided us through the trees were hilarious and fun. The animals afterwards were so much fun. Our zoo guide did the tour backwards so we didn’t fight the crowds. Went very smoothly. Got to see Sloths up close, pet monkeys and hold them and parrots were put on us for photos. The chocolate tour was so delicious. And the rum tour was excellent as well. The horseback riding was very fun and the guides there were extremely friendly and pleasant. The snorkeling was a bit of a let down as the guides there were not as friendly and seemed to be put out more than anything. No safety briefing etc. Again if you can get Fordie for your day guide you will be very pleased.

  Fantastic experience! William was our tour guide/driver and every part of the excursion was exceptional. Every part: from the zipline, to snorkeling, to horseback riding and more..all the associates we met and interacted with during the tour were great! Highly recommend!

  This was honestly the best experience I’ve ever had on an excursion. We did so much for the price we paid and we had our own private driver the whole day that was there to look out for us and take us to next activities. It was so wonderful to not have to be with a large group of people. The walk to the car from the port was difficult to maneuver because it was through the street but our tour guide was really great at getting us through the chaos. We did ziplining first and those guys were amazingly impressive. Black Panther and Anthony were my favorite people. They are a really awesome group of people and even my mom was able to go through the ziplines in the jungle. Then we did the capuchin monkeys and eco park. That was such a cool experience. I fell in love with a capuchin. After that we did horseback riding and the people who guided us through that were the best. We had 3 guys that led us through the horseback riding and 2 of them were kids. They were so polite, kind, and professional. I loved getting to know them and their culture. Originally the youngest kid wasn’t going to be able to come but we asked for him to stay with us because my mom needed extra help. They were so amazing. We ended up going to the beach after everything and Fortie picked us up to take us back to the port.

  William was an incredible guide and truly made this excursion the highlight of our entire 7-day trip. He went above and beyond to ensure we felt safe, comfortable, and had an amazing time from start to finish. When my son cut his leg on coral while snorkeling, William immediately found vinegar to help ease the sting and made sure he was okay. He even stopped along the road to break open fresh sugar cane so the kids could try it, such a thoughtful and memorable touch. When there was a long wait for the horseback riding portion, he kept us engaged with other adventures so we didn’t spend time just standing around. We’re so glad we chose Anderson Adventures and were fortunate enough to have William as our guide, and more importantly, as a new friend. We truly wish he had been our guide for every excursion on this trip.

  We had the best time! Our guide was phenomenal! He kept us and our safe and on track. We were back at port in plenty of time. He told us all about the history of it. Each place had great guides for each activity. We laughed a lot! We loved all the excursions! Really a memorable time!

  Our guide, Foster Whitaker, was completely engaging, kind and concerned about our needs. He ensured our experience was all we had hoped for, despite Nana not feeling well. Also the guide at the bird sanctuary was knowledgeable and considerate. He went out of his way to accommodate Nana’s needs, providing a wheelchair and pushing her up the hill. When she was unable to walk to the macaws he brought one to her.

  I wish I could say I made this however they canceled on me less than 24 hours before the expected trip. Kind of sucked since we woke up early to drive from our place and didn’t see that it was canceled.

  Everything was excellent except for the glitch in the snorkeling. The boat was not there when I arrived however Daren, my guide was on top of it! I did not get the full 1.5 hrs on the beach/ snorkeling part because of the boat but he found one and the guys on the boat made sure I had 30 mins of snorkeling thanks to Daren! He was a fantastic guide and was very knowledgeable about the island. He was by my side the whole day insuring I had the best experience I could & made me feel very safe. I will book again through this company and if you can ask for Daren Flowers!

• If you're looking for an amazing excursion in Roatan, I highly recommend this one!

  This was hands-down the best excursion of our western Caribbean cruise (5/5). My husband and I had an incredible time! Our guide, Treca, was fantastic at customizing the day to suit us perfectly. We got to do so much—jungle ziplining, visiting a sloth and monkey sanctuary, horseback riding, snorkeling, spending time at the beach, and snapping a picture at the iconic Roatan landmark. When my husband spotted a food vendor, Treca even helped us pick up a fried fish meal to try something local. The snorkeling guide (we regret not catching his name, but he was from Nicaragua) was outstanding! He showed us two large starfish, schools of fish, two big tunas, and even a snake eel around the coral reef. Mr. Anderson, if you see this, just know you have an incredible team that goes above and beyond!
