This was a phenomenal experience lead by "Pheobe Rachel" (not how you spell but if you know you know!). We were able to interact with the island animals, eat some delicious chocolate never a bad idea! Taste some amazing RUM....and bring some back! The cherry on top was a tour of the different communities on the island and the great deal of knowledge that she had along with a walk along the beautiful beach! She took us to a few local places to enjoy local libations and local entrees it was amazing I would suggest this to EVERYONE going to Roatan. It will be an experience you will never forget!

We had a wonderful day with our driver Junior. Took us all over the island. Many stops along the way very impressionable young man. Treated us like royalty! Beautiful weather, beautiful beaches, cool monkeys, and birds. Sara at the monkey park was so sweet, Highly recommended tour through Custom Roatan Tours.

Overall we enjoyed our tour, though it started rough. When you first get off the boat there arr DOZENS of tour company’s bombarding the gate sand trying to get your attention, even though we were looking for a “let’s see roatan” sign, we encountered an independent driver who misled us into thinking he was working with our tour company. So we trusted him. Big mistake. Turns out he was not affiliated with the tour company. Thankfully I had cell service and we were able to communicate with the tour company who coordinated a hand of with him at a scenic viewpoint, but this could’ve gone wrong in more ways that one. Once we were with our guide, Cesia, she was very kind and helpful. We didn’t really know what to expect to be honest. I guess we assumed we would be with a larger group of people on a medium sized bus, but this was more of a personal car ride around the island which turned out to be kind of nice. We preferred to support a local company. The tour stops are popular and you’ll run into other tour groups. They are very clearly tourist stops but we enjoyed the resort beach and animal experiences. My only feedback would be to have a much clearer pick up meeting point outside of the crowd of other independent tour companies. It’s just too easy to get mixed up and confused with the wrong individual.

We had a really great experience, got to do all of the things we wanted to do in Honduras! Cecia or Cecilia was an amazing tour guide, very friendly, positive and knowledgeable. The monkey, sloth and macaw sanctuary was a great stop; we got to interact, hold and touch the animals, chocolate experience was also a very cool stop, and the final destination beach was gorgeous! We had an amazing time with my entire family

If you’re booking this, be aware that it is a private tour. When you first leave the port gates you’ll see a massive amount of tour guides and taxi drivers. Our tour guide came looking for us and was wearing a blue “Let’s See Roatan” shirt. I won’t lie it seemed a bit sketchy at first but it is private and I think it’s better that way because you have better control over your time spent at each place. When you get to the beach club you don’t have to pay for the day pass ($25/pp) but do have to buy at least 1 drink. You’ll still get access to the beach but just dint have a beach chair. All in all a great experience getting to visit the animal sanctuary, chocolate factory, rum tasting, and a beach!

Our family had an absolutely amazing experience on this tour in Roatan while visiting on a cruise—it was truly top notch. I would highly recommend this to any traveler who wants to really see the island, learn about its history and culture, experience the wildlife, and still enjoy some relaxing beach time. We were lucky enough to get one of the best tour guides on the island—Jonathan. From the very beginning, he made us feel like we were part of his family. He spoke with us like we were vacationing together, sharing not only his knowledge of the island but also his personal experiences and recommendations. Jonathan was always on “island time,” never making us feel rushed or like we were an inconvenience, which made the entire day feel relaxed and enjoyable. This tour packed in so many great experiences. We visited a chocolate factory, a rum factory, an animal sanctuary, a shipwreck (which wasn’t even listed in the original tour but was such a cool bonus), and ended at West Bay Beach. The animal sanctuary was especially impressive—well beyond what we expected. At West Bay Beach, our family decided to pay extra to go parasailing. I was initially worried about timing, but Jonathan reassured us that the day was ours and encouraged us to take our time and enjoy being together. That meant a lot and really allowed us to relax and make the most of the experience. What stood out most, though, was how Jonathan connected with our 6-year-old son. He treated him like his own—letting him ride on his shoulders, ordering him chicken fingers while he was swimming, and just building a genuine connection that our son will always remember. That kind of care is something you don’t often find. The only small challenge was the booking process. It was a bit different from other tours since there wasn’t a specific meet-up time listed—just instructions to meet after docking. This caused some stress for me because I didn’t want to miss the tour. We rushed off the ship when we docked at 7am, but later learned that guides are available up until 11am. Knowing that ahead of time would have made the start of our day much more relaxed. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience, and Jonathan truly made it exceptional. If you’re visiting Roatan and want a meaningful, well-rounded tour, this is absolutely the one to book.
