5.00We booked this tour because we didn’t want to do the large cruise ship tours. We like to have a more personal experience. Edward was out tour guide and he was great. He gave us some much information. He took us to a look out point where we could look down on the cruise ships. There were vendors there and we bought some things to bring home. I would much rather buy things away from the ports because I feel I am truly buying from the locals. Many port shops on different islands are owned by people from other countries. We then went to Maya Eden for our sloth encounter. I recommend you were sturdy walking shoes that you don’t mind getting muddy. The trails tended to be slick. We held the sloths which was my main goal. I wished we had a little more time holding them. We also held other animals. Tucans, Parrots and the monkeys come down from the trees and just climb all over you. They were amazing. We were told that some of the monkeys were in time out due to pick pocketing. So be careful of loose items. As an after thought we were glad they didn’t try and take my husbands hearing aids. When we were done with the animal park Edward was there waiting for us. His car was immaculate until we got back in! Sorry Edward. Edward cleans his car daily. At this point we really were happy with our day and asked to go back to the ship. We really enjoyed our visit and would use 2K’s Adventures again. We were very happy with their services and Edward was awesome!
