I arrived in Roatan from a RC cruise. I usually opt to book excursions outside of the cruise line. We are a family of 4 from the Atlanta area. We found our tour guide easily. Kendrick was great! He drove us around in a small tour van. Our first stop was the Roatan sign. Then a small souvenir shop. Then we went to the wildlife park and saw monkeys and sloths. After this we were taken to a "resort" to spend a few hours and snorkel. We had a good time. The resort wasn't the nicest - and there were A TON of people haggling us on the beach - which I don't normally mind, but it was excessive. The beach was small and not one I would return to. My husband and son snorkeled. They enjoyed it. My 9 year old son said "this was the best 30 minutes of my vacation" (the snorkeling). Others who snorkeled said it was beautiful! The boat they take you out on from the beach is a small tiny fishing boat style boat. Unfortunately we were there on a cloudy and rainy day so I cant truly attest the snorkeling. I had a 4 year old with me, who was turning 5 in a few days, so I was worried I would need to have his passport with me to prove his age (you are not charged for 4 and under) - but was never asked, so that was seamless. We did bring our own car seat along because they are not provided. We felt totally safe the whole time. Kendrick our driver was very sweet and knowledgeable. This was a good excursion - my kids (4 and 9) LOVED the animal experience. You can't touch sloths but the monkeys are quick to jump all over you. Have money to tip your guide at the animal park. All in all -- good day, and great experience with the tour company and tour guide, but I probably would not return to Roatan.

Had the best time ever with our tour guide Cynthia and Erwin at the animal sanctuary!! Erwin was so nice and knowledgeable about the animals. We loved the monkeys and the sloths. Cynthia then took us to a great resort to snorkel. Or snorkel guide took us to a beautiful area filled with fish coral and sea urchins. He even attached himself to my 75 year old father to pull him along so he could enjoy it. This was the best trip advisor tour that I’ve done in the Caribbean. We will be booking with them again when we go in February. Highly recommend them!

Our tour guide Jarin Trochez. was really great. The animal park was ok. Many animals you cannot touch. Some you can. The snorkel was beautiful, but equipment was kind of gross. Kids had a great time though.

Great experience. What is not written out about the excursion is that you get your own driver. Our driver showed us around the island. We stopped at a Romcake factory and a chocolate factory in addition to what was on the trip. The beach break was at the Henry Morgan resort, incredible place. Want to lift our driver Mancer, he was super nice and made our day one of the best we experienced.

We met Ted easily and walked to his SUV. We had 4 adults and a 6 year old. The wildlife stop was fun with a capuchin monkey, sloths, and a scarlet macaw. The Henry Morgan resort in West End was great with a nice beach and pool, lounge chairs with shade. Snorkeling involved a wooden speed boat out to a lovely coral reef. They roped off our beach area and had security to keep vendors and pickpockets at bay. We were back to the ship with plenty of time to spare.

We had a great guide Dany! They informed us well and accompanied us to the places of activities! We enjoyed visiting the sanctuary and the snorkeling activity was perfect. The beach was just perfect.

Our exclusive tour guide was fabulous and very nice. She stayed with us all day. It was a lousy rainy day so we were unable to go to West Bay Beach (it was shutdown), but we went to another location. It was nice. The snorkeling was fantastic but would've been better with better weather. Not their fault. Due to new regulations, we could not cuddle a sloth but had a great experience with them, the monkeys, and birds anyway. I would've rated the experience even lower due to the following fact but that would be unfair to our tour guide. The negative was when we got off the ship at Roatan and trying to find the Raotan Tucan Adventures. We had to walk through a gauntlet of tour sellers and experience a very smothering effect. Everyone was yelling and crowding you that it made it almost impossible to find our tour. That was awful.

We had a great day with Kendrick. He gave us a private tour and was very knowledgeable about the island. We started at the animal sanctuary where they have monkeys, sloths and birds. The monkeys were so fun! Then we did a drift snorkel where we saw tons of beautiful fish. Finished at a beach where we could get some lunch and drinks. The small private beach was very uncrowded. It was a great day.

Carolina was absolutely amazing as our personal tour guide! She met my wife and me right at the cruise port, making everything seamless and stress-free. From the start, her professionalism and warm personality stood out. She drove us to the sloth and monkey sanctuary, where we had an unforgettable experience. On the way, Carolina even stopped at a local vendor and treated us to fresh rambutan fruit—such a thoughtful touch that made us feel truly immersed in the local culture. Next, she arranged a small boat to take us to a stunning private beach. We had planned to snorkel, but the boat driver honestly advised us that visibility wasn’t great due to the weather, which we really appreciated. Instead, we enjoyed relaxing on the gorgeous beach without any rush. Carolina ensured we were safe, comfortable, and having a great time throughout the entire day. She was courteous, personable, and went above and beyond to make our visit special. At the end of the tour, she drove us back to the cruise port right on time. I highly recommend Carolina and Roatan Tucan Adventures to anyone looking for a personalized, unforgettable experience in Roatan. Five stars all the way!

We had an amazing time on this excursion!! Our tour guide/driver was Ruth and she was great! She was eager to answer any/all questions we had about Roatan while we were exploring between stops. She even stopped at a gas station to get us some local snacks and drinks on the way to the Wildlife Park. She recommended a restaurant for our dinner that was great called Mutton Pepper Caribbean Grill which we really enjoyed and got to see some monkeys while we were eating. Highly recommend this excursion and very pleased with our experience!
