What To Expect
Your snorkel adventure begins with a convenient pick-up from your location. Our friendly and experienced guide will greet you and ensure you're comfortable before we set off. Enjoy a scenic 15-20 minute drive to our private dock, where you can relax and take in the sights of the local area. Upon arrival at the dock, our knowledgeable staff will assist you in selecting and fitting your snorkel gear. We'll provide all the necessary equipment, including masks, snorkels, and fins, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit. Our team will give you a brief overview of how to use the equipment and answer any questions you may have. At the snorkeling spot, you'll have the opportunity to explore vibrant coral reefs and observe a diverse array of marine life. Dive into the crystal-clear waters and immerse yourself in the underwater world, where you might encounter colorful fish, fascinating corals, and maybe even a sea turtle or two. Our guide will be with you to point out interesting sights and ensure your safety throughout the adventure.

5.00This was the highlight of our entire Caribbean trip. We stopped at Roatan on a cruise and decided to book a snorkeling experience rather than do the ship’s version and we couldn’t have been happier. It was a small group and we went to three different parts of the reef and saw an incredible array of corals and fish, mantas, etc, spending at least a half hour in each place, possibly more. We had done an experience in Grand Cayman, but this was far beyond that one. ROA did a wonderful job of making it feel fun and intimate and educational, with a guide pointing out all the different kinds of fish he saw and guiding us along the reef. We got to see the drop off where the reefs drops sharply into the abyss and it was breathtaking. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves snorkeling, wildlife, and adventure!

5.00ROA was awesome!! We booked this as an excursion on our recent cruise to Roatan and we super happy with the service. They were incredibly responsive when booking. I initially booked the wrong date and they replied back immediately with a fix. The walk to the meetup place was quick from the cruise terminal and finding them was easy even in that chaos. Brandon was our driver there and back and he told us a little about living in Roatan and his background which we enjoyed! Once there we tried on fins and quickly got on the boat to head out for our first stop. Our snorkel guide was Trey and he was great! Our small group has experienced snorkels but I felt like he was there to help if needed. He pointed out things and kept a great eye on the group. We got a pretty cloudy day but the snorkeling was still beautiful! Our captain was great too and told us a lot about the snorkel or island as we drove to spots. Overall, my husband and I are excited to go back for another excursion with ROA and would 100% recommend!

5.00Travel to and from the ship was great. The snorkeling was very good and the guides were excellent. The excursion was the perfect length, around 2 hours from ship and back, I would definitely do again.

5.00Justin was waiting for us at the indicated meeting point after getting off the ship. The drive to the snorkelling rendez vous pier was interesting, with Justin pointing out facts and history along the way. Once on the pontoon, the guides were very helpful giving pointers to those who had never used the equipment. The snorkelling reef was awesome! Even my husband, who was a diver in the past, was impressed by the quality of the coral reef and the plentiful fish ! I would highly recommend this excursion !

5.00We had such a personable experience with this company. Our driver Norma went above and beyond to make our day wonderful. She added a stop at the monkey and sloth sanctuary and allows us to stop at a restaurant for some local cuisine. She was the best. Our snorkel guide Trey was so knowledgeable and he was the best as well!!! Highly recommending going with this company. The snorkel and visibility was amazing!

5.00Highly recommended! 😎 Roatán Ocean Adventure delivered a fun, professional experience! Our group included a wide range of swimmers. We embarked from the cruise, and found our driver ( ROA signs visible). Her van was clean, and she drove directly to the waterfront where ROA catamarans were ready with chilled water, towels, and snorkeling gear. In the sea, we were guided through a fabulous snorkel/swim above colorful coral gardens teeming with brilliant tropical fish. The catamaran captain remained nearby for swimmers who wanted to relax aboard. There was no pressure, no rush. ROA was better value and adventure than ANY cruise ship excursion! (Paige Woods of ROA organized directly through Trip Advisor ) Highly recommend 👏🏻👏🏻

5.00I highly recommend this snorkeling experience. The reef was exceptional and our guide and pontoon boat captain did everything possible to make this a snorkel trip of a lifetime. I have snorkel many places in the Caribbean and truly this trip was one of the best ever.
