What To Expect
Roatan
At the exit gate your driver and guide will pick you up and take you on a 20minute car ride driving east on the island towards your first stop at the animal sanctuary name Jungle top adventure Roatan were you will have 45minutes to take photos with exotic animals in there natural habitat,
French Harbour
Our guest will have a 1 hour drift snorkel exploration at different sights on the 2nd largest and most beautiful Coral reef barrier in the world and a underwater marine adventure of a life time here you will get to see beautiful colorful coral, fish and star fish and occasionally nurse sharks, after getting out of the water from your marine adventure its time for sun and relaxation and for your beach break, sinking your toes in white powdery sand or soaking up some warm crystal clear Caribbean water, with your own private waiter at your service you don't have to leave your chair for your beverages or ordering lunch. You will spend approximately 3 hours at this facility before heading back to your ship.

5.00Our guide Christian took us around in the car to all the spots. The animals were amazing, the snorkeling was super cool, and the beach was good too. We stopped at a coffee/chocolate factory and had a great time their as well.

5.00This was a great experience for us on Roatan. Our driver was so nice and personable. Ask for Odessa. Aj’s zoo was fun and then we went snorkeling where the crew was very safety first and professional. Overall great day.

5.00Arnie, from the beginning, made us feel so absolutely safe and comfortable. What a great guy. He made my 17 year old and I feel like royalty. Comfortable van seating. Wildlife sanctuary was a lifetime memory. Very helpful staff. Snorkel was professional and efficient. Beach stay was clean. Food was outstanding. Best pina colada in a LONG time. Do not miss the conch balls. We miss Denver and Sophia (local doggies) already. Thank you again, Arnie. You made our trip.

5.00MAMA Rosa was our driver and she made sure we were well taken care of. The Sloths and Monkeys were very interesting. The snorkeling was great. Only 8 of us on the boat. It wasn't an overcrowded catamaran. I would highly reccomend using Breakaway tours!!!

5.00Bernie, the tour guide was top-notch. The entire excursion was amazing from the sloths and monkeys to the private beach. The snorkeling was amazing and we seen beautiful fish and other creatures in the ocean.

5.00We had an amazing experience with David! He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and made the entire day feel special from start to finish. The private tour to AJ’s Monkey and Sloth Zoo was unforgettable—we loved getting up close and petting the sloth, guinea pigs, monkeys, and birds. The snorkeling was fantastic, and the semi-private beach was absolutely beautiful and relaxing. As a bonus, we highly recommend getting the massage (not included)—it was the perfect way to end the day. Overall, a 10/10 experience. We would absolutely do it again!

5.00My family of four, two adults and two kids ages seven and five had a great time on this excursion! Our host/personal driver, Trevor, was amazing! The company had him meet us exactly where the instructions told us he would in the email. (Admittedly getting through the gauntlet of sales people right at the port was a bit crazy, so just remember the tour company’s name you are looking for & print out/screen shot your info ahead of time for easy reference— they tell you to bypass all the sales people and exit across the street.) Once we met up with the company, the linked us up with our guide, Trevor. He then took us in a private car directly to AJ‘s animal sanctuary, where we were able to beat the crowds, and see the sloths and monkeys at our own pace without feeling, rushed at all. After our time with the animals, Trevor took us again by car to a nearby dock where we were able to change at the facilities and board a boat that was ready to take a small group out on the snorkeling part of our excursion. They provided all the snorkeling gear & fins. We had about an hour to snorkel, which was plenty of time since the water was chilly - and the sky was overcast. The boat then dropped us off across the bay at Brady’s Cay. There was a restaurant to order drinks & food (not included) and beach chairs/umbrellas (although the weather did not cooperate with us here, so we did not end up trying to reserve one.) The beach was nice, but busy. Trevor let us know a meeting point for us- so when we were ready to head back across the bay, he was waiting for us to hop back on the included ferry boat to guide us back to his car. We would have had a bit of time to take a few photos as well at a few stops, but our kiddos fell asleep on the ride back, and there was unusual traffic due to the rain, so to make sure we arrived back to our ship with plenty of time, we opted to head straight back to the port. Trevor was an amazing guide and we would absolutely book this tour again or recommend it to travelers visiting Roáton on a cruise. For reference, we were on Royal Carrbean’s Star of the seas, 3/15-22/2026 and visited 3/19.

5.00BOOK this NOW! We could not have been happier about this excursion! We had the BEST experience. Although it becomes a group excursion at times, you have a private driver, which is our speed. David was our driver and host. It gives a personal touch and he did NOT disappoint! (He needs a raise! So good!) On the way back, my husband had to go to the bathroom....baaaddd. He knew the perfect, clean spot, and even bought us pastelitos! Seriously, he was amazing. First, they take you to an animal sanctuary that ACTUALLY cares about the animals. All the animals are well taken care and known by the workers by name. You get to pet and sometimes get sat on lol. Other people on our cruise ship went to a larger animal sanctuary and did not have the experience we did! Next, you go snorkeling. I cannot remember the captain and crew's (brothers) names, but they were the best guides. We are swimmers and others in our group were not. That is ok! They have two guides in the water that keep up with your speed. You can go back to the boat early. Then you go to this private island, Brady's caye. The pineapple drinks are poppin! It started to rain and we decided to head back early. Then ate some pastelitos with David and bragged about our experience to everyone we could. **Things to note.... - If you are cruising out of the Port of Roatan follow the instructions in your email to get to your guide/driver. - Walk out of the port of Roaton (follow green exit arrows)... cross the cross walk...then walk outside where all the vendors are. *This is overwhelming, but several guides with Roatan Breakaway Tours are right there, and will escort you to your driver. Trust me, they take good care of you. -Bring good supportive swim shoes/shoes for walking out of the port. You may have to walk a bit to get to the parking lot with your driver. *Other thing to note, this tour is rain or shine. Please don't complain...this is a tropical island people lol...they have rain. They take great care of you and even though it rained for us....it added to the fun for us. It is all how you view life :) Pura Vida

5.00The most amazing part of our trip. We had so much fun with the animals and Gaian was the best driver and guide. The snorkeling was the best we had encountered. I wish the food was not so expensive at bradys cay. As it was not quality… all in all a great day
