Welcome to Roatan a hidden paradise ready for you to explore. Your adventure begins approximately 40 minutes after your ship arrives
Our first stop takes you to one of the highest points on the island, where you’ll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Roatan—perfect for photos and a chance to browse local souvenir shops
Next we head to a wildlife park where you’ll have the opportunity to see our wildlife creating unforgettable memories and amazing pictures in a natural setting.
We then continue to a local chocolate factory, where our guides will walk you through the traditional process of how chocolate is made, from bean to bar.
After that, we visit the famous rum cake factory, where you can taste and enjoy a variety of delicious island flavors.
To finish the tour, we take you to the beautiful West Bay Beach—one of the most stunning beaches in Roatan. You’ll have access to a beachfront hotel where you can use restrooms showers, and changing facilities, rooms

5.00My friend and I booked a tour with Alex Roatan Tours on the advice of my sister. We were glad we did! This is a great way to see some of the beautiful things about this great island. Our driver/guide, Klinsman, was very friendly and knowledgeable! We would definitely recommend this for families and friends traveling to Roatan!

4.00The interaction with the monkeys was so much fun. I hate we didn’t get to hold a sloth. Our driver Mia was nice, but didn’t share much information about the island during the drive. The beach was nice. Quesadillas was fabulous.

5.00The booking with Viator worked perfectly. Our tour of Roatan with Alex Roatan Tours (ART) worked flawlessly and we couldn't be happier. Lina was our tour guide and she was there at the pier waiting for us. She was very professional and informed us of our itinerary for the tour. The tours of the ECO Park, chocolate factory, and rum factory were great. Samuel was our tour guide of the ECO Park and was fantastic in explaining the animals and getting us personal photos with the animals. This along with the scenic stops for photos was the highlight of our tour. We highly recommend this tour for others and would do it again if we visit Roatan.

5.00What a great way to experience Roatan for the first time! Alex was the best tour guide. He took us to the places we wanted to see and gave us a look at how the locals live as well! He was beyond accommodating and our family enjoyed every minute, especially our times with the sloths. You definitely want to see Roatan with Alex!

5.00Our experience with Alex was absolutely amazing. We went with a family of 11 on a Carnival Cruise. I would highly recommend going on a tour with him as he is very passionate about his love for his home country. He ensured we would make it back to port in time. If we ever find ourselves on another cruise to Honduras, we would book again with Alex!!!

5.00Absolutely the best tour guide we have ever had!! We had the most amazing time and got to experience the whole island! He made sure we were taken care of. Had juice, soda and water for the entire crew and when the kids drank all the juice he went and restocked the cooler with more! He bought a native fruit for us and the kids to try. He knew all the fact and history about the island. Any question the kids asked he had an answer for them. We highly recommend Alex Roatan Tours when you visit the island! We will definitely be back to visit Alex again!

5.00Daniel and Diego provided an amazing day for our family. The kids, 6 and 9, loved the monkeys, sloths and chocolate factory. Us adults loved the runm factory, beach break and they even took us to a local resturant on the way back to the ship. The beach is one of the most beautiful ones we have been too. There were several starfish near the shore. We learned so much about Roatan and enjoyed every minute!

5.00Good for families that don't want to be with large crowds. Alex was very informative and friendly We went to a viewing point for pictures, there they sold souvenirs, then Alex took us to the monkey sloth sanctuary where we had a personal guide, from there you get to go to the chocolate store, then we opted out of the rum location since we don't drink, we then went to paradise beach hotel for beach access (no beach chairs are included) so bring a towel. Then we headed back to the boat but stopped for a picture at the Roatan sign
