Piazza della Minerva
Piazza della Minerva, near the Pantheon, features Bernini's Elephant and Obelisk and the Gothic Basilica of Santa Maria sopra Minerva, built over an ancient temple to the goddess Minerva. This compact square beautifully blends Roman history with Baroque art.
Pantheon
Rome’s Pantheon, built around 126 AD, stuns with its giant domed roof and central oculus lighting the space. This ancient temple-turned-church is a masterpiece of engineering and the resting place of famed artist Raphael.

5.00This was the second time I’ve done this tour, this time with my daughter. Ivan the guide was tremendous. He added so much colour and knowledge. We visited just four Caravaggio paintings but it was a wonderful hrs and a great way to visit 16th century Rome. Thank you.

5.00Ivan, our guide, did a wonderful job of introducing us to the work of Caravaggio during this two hour tour. We were really impressed with Ivan’s enthusiasm and knowledge of the life of Caravaggio and the way he delivered this with trying to solve the question of ‘Who killed Caravaggio?’ Great to learn so much about his turbulent life and impressive painting skills.

It was a nice change from the typical tourist attractions since this is my 3rd time in Rome. Ivan was very friendly, informative and was able to break down some art history concepts for someone like me who doesn’t know much about it. He also offered great recommendations!
