Mandatory meeting time at Fabullus Winee Cellar is 5 minutes before the scheduled time Late arrivals cannot join the group or reschedule, unless you pay for the activity again. As per "No Show" rules you will not be entitled to a refund.
It is mandatory to communicate any allergies or intolerances to food and drinks at the time of booking. Failure to communicate does not guarantee the service.
For the Self Guided Tour Option, Smartphones to download the app for the audioguide must be of the latest generation (No older than the year 2020)

Punctuality is required to fully enjoy the experience. For delays exceeding 20 minutes the tasting could be canceled.
It is essential to have a charged smartphone produced after 2020 to download and use the audio guide APP. We suggest using headphones to enjoy the experience at its best.

What To Expect
The heart of Rome’s most characteristic district, Trastevere, is located in the basement of an 18th-century building, the Wine Cellar Fabullus, a Rome wine cellar. This authentic underground cellar, obtained from the careful and skillful recovery of a Roman cistern from the 1st century AD, is furnished with antique objects and furniture that make this place unique. “Life is too short to drink mediocre wines.” Johann Wolfgang von Goethe Original Roman marble, ancient artifacts, furniture, and things related to the production of wine decorate the walls and wooden shelves, making this place welcoming and pleasant. Over the years, this wine cellar in Rome has become a place for tastings of excellent products for lovers of authentic products and faithful to the ancient tradition of Italian food and wine culture.

The moment we stepped inside, the world outside seemed to slow down. Soft lighting, shelves lined with bottles from all over Italy, and the gentle hum of conversation created a cozy, almost timeless atmosphere. Our tasting was perfectly curated: four incredible wines from different Italian regions, each introduced with passion and deep knowledge. The explanations weren’t rehearsed — they felt like stories, told by someone who truly loves what they do. Every wine was paired with local delicacies — aged pecorino, artisanal salami, truffle bruschetta — each bite enhancing the flavors in the glass. What made the experience special wasn’t just the quality of the wine, but the feeling of authenticity. It didn’t feel touristy at all, just pure Roman hospitality at its best. Sitting there, sipping a velvety red while the sound of distant laughter floated in from the streets of Trastevere, was pure magic. An unforgettable experience — a must for anyone who loves wine, food, and the real soul of Rome.
