Please note: this is a private tour. The list of sites is a menu of options—not a fixed itinerary—and it isn’t possible to visit all of them on a 3-hour tour. At the start, your guide will discuss your interests and plan a realistic route. You’ll see as many sites as time allows.
most tours operate with a six-seat golf cart—four seats face forward (including the driver’s position) and two seats face backward.
Hotel pickup is offered only in the city center. Please check the hotel list or contact us if you’re unsure. If no pickup location is selected, the tour departs from the Rolling Rome office at Piazza del Gesù 47.
Please note: this is a sightseeing tour and does not include entry to ticketed sites such as the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vatican Museums, or Pantheon. We’ll stop by these landmarks for exterior views and photos, but we will not go inside during the tour.
The tour runs rain or shine. Our golf carts are equipped with rain covers for wet weather.
For large groups, we can operate multiple golf carts—each with its own guide—and keep them coordinated and close together at each stop.
No reconfirmation is required upon arrival. If you have any questions, please send us a message at the time of booking.
All golf carts are street-legal and equipped with seat belts and side protection.
We can accommodate a wheelchair for free only for bookings of up to three participants.
For safety reasons, each golf cart can accommodate only one baby seat, which must be installed in the middle seat next to a parent.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

5.00Really great experience, we trusted the guide’s judgement but could also tailor the tour as we liked. Julius was fantastic, he had studied Ancient Roman history so had a wealth of knowledge which appealed to my son studying classics. They chatted a lot! Really fun tour, more than your average tourist tour. Would highly recommend. We felt well looked after and learnt so much!

5.00Angelo was a fantastic guide! He is friendly with a great sense of humor and is extremely knowledgable about the history of Rome. He shared engaging stories about all of the sights. He planned stops to maximize our time and even made sure to include a gelato break. Our kids (10 and 13) also enjoyed this excursion. He offered restaurant recommendations, too. Highly recommend a tour with Angelo!

5.00Gabriel was our tour guide for this tour and he did an exceptional job for us. He has fantastic English and explained himself really well. He drove us around Rome through traffic, kept us very safe and made sure we had an amazing time. We saw so much that we would not have been able to see by walking, we drove down tiny cobbled streets. It was a really fantastic experience and a privilege to have learnt so much about Rome from him. This would be a great choice of tour for anyone with reduced mobility as its immensely convenient and the tour was customized to help us see the things we were most interested in. We loved it. Thank you!

5.00Super fun way to maximize your visit to Rome! So nice that our guide, Eugene, picked us up at our hotel on a rainy Sunday. We were prepared for weather, and we were pleasantly surprised that the golf-cart had a full enclosure. We were comfortable the whole time despite some showers (warm and dry). Eugene “Gene” was very knowledgeable, super friendly and enthusiastic. Not some monotonous robot going through the motions. It felt like an old friend showing us around town. He allowed us to decide how much time, and when we wanted to brave the elements. I was celebrating my 60th birthday and Gene brought me a pastry. So kind and genuine! My wife and I agree that if you’re able to request Gene, do it. Lunch spot (included) was popular and delizioso. The wait staff there knew Gene and treated us so kindly. Great tour. Worth the cost.
