Please note: this is a private tour. The list of sites is a menu of options—not a fixed itinerary—and it isn’t possible to visit all of them on a 3-hour tour. At the start, your guide will discuss your interests and plan a realistic route. You’ll see as many sites as time allows.
most tours operate with a six-seat golf cart—four seats face forward (including the driver’s position) and two seats face backward.
Hotel pickup is offered only in the city center. Please check the hotel list or contact us if you’re unsure. If no pickup location is selected, the tour departs from the Rolling Rome office at Piazza del Gesù 47.
Please note: this is a sightseeing tour and does not include entry to ticketed sites such as the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vatican Museums, or Pantheon. We’ll stop by these landmarks for exterior views and photos, but we will not go inside during the tour.
The tour runs rain or shine. Our golf carts are equipped with rain covers for wet weather.
For large groups, we can operate multiple golf carts—each with its own guide—and keep them coordinated and close together at each stop.
No reconfirmation is required upon arrival. If you have any questions, please send us a message at the time of booking.
All golf carts are street-legal and equipped with seat belts and side protection.
We can accommodate a wheelchair for free only for bookings of up to three participants.
For safety reasons, each golf cart can accommodate only one baby seat, which must be installed in the middle seat next to a parent.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

3.00We had a group of 12 friends take the Rome by Golf Cart Private Tour. There are three points I want to share: One: There were two golf carts. Our guide's name was Angelica and was EXCELLENT!!! She had a wonderful personality and lots of energy! The other guide's name was Antonio. Antonio was not very friendly or informative. He looked like he would rather be anywhere else than there! We all got out to explore one area. When it was time to get back in the carts, Antonio left with only two of the 5 people!!! Angelica had to call him to come back and pick up the other 3 people. He also took the wrong turns and did not wait for our cart. Our friends in that cart were very disappointed. Two: Unfortunately it was raining that night. The two people in the back of our cart got soaking wet. There was no cover to keep them dry. Three: It would really benefit all of us if the tour guide had a microphone so we could hear what they were saying. Driving with all the cars made it very difficult to hear. Our tour guide, Angelica, was amazing - she spoke as loud as she could and told interesting facts. The people in the last row could not hear her, though. We liked everything else - the places, the scenery, etc.

5.00The trip was the highlight of our holiday in Rome. We saw so much and had a very excellent guide who provided interesting information plus time to look at the sights and ask questions. We all gained so much from our guides tour, which he tailored to suit our requirements. Definite highlights were Gardens Borghese and views over Rome Colosseum at dusk when it was illuminated A courtyard where the city sound couldn’t be heard A great coffee shop The Parthenon by night We would do the tour again

5.00The highlight of our trip. Alex and Barbara took us to “behind the scenes” locations and tailored it to what we wanted to see versus quickly looking at all the normal tourist attractions. Alex was very knowledgeable and kept us all engaged. Barbara was in training but led us through a very nice church. Ceiling of the church rivals that of the Sistine Chapel….a must see. Ask for the domeless Church.
