With your expert family friendly guide and your treasure hunt maps, wander through the dark tunnels and passageways and learn about ancient Christian traditions as the kids listen carefully for riddles and clues.
Museum and Crypt of Capuchins Friars
You will be escorted by your guide and driver to your next stop - the Capuchin Crypts. This fascinating museum houses nearly 8,000 human bones! The children will listen for more clues on their treasure hunt, and receive their prize as the tour comes to an end.

5.00We had a great time with AJ at the Catacombs and Capuchin Crypts. She was very knowledgeable about the area, the sites, and the art. She was able to keep our kids 9 and 14 engaged as well as adults. She also had great recommendations for restaurants. Having a driver was very helpful as well.

5.00Easily the coolest tour we’ve ever been on! Adventuring through historic Roman catacombs and stepping into the sacred crypts of the Capuchin friars was made infinitely more enjoyable thanks to our wonderful and extremely well educated guide AJ. The best part was her innate ability to entertain our two under 10 boys, keeping them engaged throughout the entire experience. LivTours have been a good choice, but if you’re bringing your children, do yourself a huge favor and make sure you request AJ well in advance, 10/10!

5.00The tour was even better than we imagined. Our tour guide, Massimo, was very engaging and informative. He made the tour fun and interesting for both kids (12 and 15) and me and my husband. While the subject matter seems unpleasant, he told stories and presented the information in a very family friendly manner which even showed how the crypts could be places of comfort and beauty. While in the car, Massimo described the sites we were passing and gave helpful tips for our stay in Rome. I definitely recommend this tour and Massimo
