Easily the coolest tour we’ve ever been on! Adventuring through historic Roman catacombs and stepping into the sacred crypts of the Capuchin friars was made infinitely more enjoyable thanks to our wonderful and extremely well educated guide AJ. The best part was her innate ability to entertain our two under 10 boys, keeping them engaged throughout the entire experience. LivTours have been a good choice, but if you’re bringing your children, do yourself a huge favor and make sure you request AJ well in advance, 10/10!

The tour was even better than we imagined. Our tour guide, Massimo, was very engaging and informative. He made the tour fun and interesting for both kids (12 and 15) and me and my husband. While the subject matter seems unpleasant, he told stories and presented the information in a very family friendly manner which even showed how the crypts could be places of comfort and beauty. While in the car, Massimo described the sites we were passing and gave helpful tips for our stay in Rome. I definitely recommend this tour and Massimo

We read about the catacombs, but nothing beats seeing them in person. It’s a very interesting experience. We knew nothing about the crypt and it was nothing like we expected. Fascinating and creepy at the same time. Our guide, Miky, was knowledgeable and a lot of fun!

Our guide was fantastic. She even talked about the sights we were seeing along the drive. The catacombs were extremely interesting. She was excellent, even recommending a restaurant for lunch.

We had an absolutely wonderful time and our tour guide Marco was fabulous! He did such a great job with our daughter Kaiya and he’s one of the best guides we’ve had so far in Rome! I can’t recommend this tour enough. It was so much fun!
