The Rome Food Experience, Semi-Private and Private Options available, is a 3-hour guided restaurant hopping tour that explores the richness of Italian cuisine and tradition with an emphasis in Roman eno-gastronomic heritage. During this ultra rich 5-stop dinner with drinks, you will learn a mixture of history and food of the last centuries, all the while being taken into a beautiful walking tour through Rome's historic center. In either your small group of only 6 people, or in your very own private tour, be ready to taste it all, from rustic trattorie, typical street-food, and fancy and unique high-end restaurants. 5.00My husband and I booked the taste of Rome food tour with Livtours. We had the greatest time with our guide AJ. She not only brought us to fantastic food spots that are loved by locals but also provided us with some of the historial background behind each neighborhood or restaurant we visited. Any questions we had she answered masterfully. She even gave us some suggestions of places to try on the rest of our vacation here in Rome along with must try dishes in the other cities we are visiting in Italy! If you get the opportunity to book with Livtours for this tour you should and should ask for AJ! Just an FYI, definitely suggest not eating too much before going on this tour! We were definitely full by the end of it! Oh and save room for dessert!

5.00On a cool night with intermittent showers, Andy took my wife & I on a delicious and informative adventure. Beyond the cuisine (which was varied and wonderful), Andy’s historical backdrops added depth to each stop; e.g. how Jewish life under early Roman Catholic rule influenced the ingredients on our plate. Highly recommended!
