What To Expect
Live an amazing experience in Barceloneta, ten minutes walking from the beach, our amazing place is situated in front of the old port, with an amazing view and with a charm terrace full of plants. Once you arrived, you will be received with a glass of Champagne. Then We introduce ourselves. Immediately after this, the master class starts. Alfonso, the chef has studied on the cooking higher school of Barcelona, and also has been worked in different restaurants in the city, he will reveal many secrets about this very famous dish, he will show you the different ingredients that do will be used and explain how to cook them, also at the time to cook you will see how to do step by step. The food has been chosen for its quality and freshness. The dishes will be served on the terrace, surrounded by plants and enjoying the sunset. Alfonso, the chef has studied on the cooking higher school of Barcelona, and also has been worked in different restaurants in the city, he will reveal many secrets about this very famous dish. At the end of the experience all the participants will received an email with all the recipes. Get ready for an Amazing experience!!!

5.00Fabulous experience!! There were five of us and three others also joined in the fun. And what a fun night it was! The directions to the apartment were very clear. Our taxi driver had no problems. We started the experience with glasses of wine, then a bit of easy but fun prep work for the paella. Next we headed up to the rooftop terrace and that was like a dreamland. What an incredible view and gorgeous, interesting plants up there. We watched the “chef” cook the paella and that was fascinating. But the best part was to come…eating it along with delicious gazpacho and of course the paella. The yummy Catalan version of crème brûlée was the topper. We had a wonderful time- so relaxed, yet informative. We all even received the recipes via email the very next day! Note: host does have a very, very sweet dog. I wish I could have taken him home! But just a heads up if you are allergic to dogs. Once in a lifetime experience for us. I highly recommend doing this!! Great value for the gorgeous setting and experience.

5.00This is a nice, intimate cooking class - a departure from the overly touristy, busy experiences in Barcelona. Location with harbor and sunset views. Small group with a Spanish chef as our host. Host was gracious, pleasant, knowledgeable, and patient with us. Wonderful tablescape with well-developed progressive menu - gazpacho, seafood paella, crema catalan, and sangria. Everything came out delicioso! Nice, peaceful conversations over dinner with good recipes and memories when we departed.

5.00We had an incredible time ! Warm welcome with drinks and a stunning view of Barcelona waterfront. Ingredients were fresh and delicious making our 3 course dinner and yummy Sangria beyond amazing. We enjoyed eating on a stunning rooftop terrace overlooking the Harbour. Host/Chef was just amazing. A memory my family will cherish. Highly Highly recommend!!!!!

5.00We had a wonderful evening with Alfonso and Txema! There was also a family participating with is. We were in the personal home and rooftop patio overlooking the Old Port where many yachts were docked. The view from their patio is beautiful, the weather was ideal and the food was excellent! Alfonso shared his recipes, even his “secret ingredient “! 😀 after dinner, my husband & I walked around the port looking at the beautiful boats, and the activities of the carnival around the port area. We would definitely recommend this activity, we had a lovely evening! Thank you, Alfonso and Txema!

5.00This was a true "experience" For my birthday, my adult Son agreed to go with me. Of course we (mother & son) don't often enjoy the same things. But I had a great time and I think he enjoyed it more than I did! The food was really good; we got some good cooking tips; the view was fabulous; and the Chef was "authentic". We really had a great time and would absolutely recommend adding this experience to your Barcelona trip!

5.00This is hands down one of my favorite travel experiences of all time. It was just me, my mom, and my brother with Alfonso and his co-host. With our small group, we got to be totally hands on for the entire experience. The paella we had was AMAZING, I still dream of it to this day! The hosts were informative, easy-going, and so easy to talk to! The apartment is BEAUTIFUL and artsy. You would never get such an authentic and intimate experience with a large tour. I highly recommend this class above all others!!! 10000/10 for sure.
