5.00Arrows are sparse, trail is confusing, and there are a ton of cool things to see on this trail. Getting a guide is the way to go to a) not get lost and b) see all of the cave churches and bee houses.

My guide, Mustafa, was very helpful and friendly, allowed me to visit fantastic viewpoints where otherwise it would have been difficult to get there. He also explained very well the history of the valleys and monasteries that are located within them. Highly recommended tour.
