I had the best hiking experience with Toni as my guide. He was the best as he guided us to the Korouoma hiking loop while also explaining everything in details. From nature wildlife, the track history, safety of the tracks, tips to navigate through the hike, story behind the waterfalls, and even local folklore. The hike itself was also very beautiful as we can see the waterfalls, forests, and even reindeers! The small group system made it wonderful as we can move better and asked many questions to Toni. He was also very caring and made sure of our safety throughout the journey. We also enjoyed a very fulfilling lunch at the end of our hike with Finnish food and warm drinks by the campfire which was very fun. We even went to other waterfalls, not only the official ones. BEST HIKING EXPERIENCE EVER! I recommend you to book this tour especially in a good day when it's not extremely cold, but honestly they provided you with winter gears anyways. We also experienced soft snowfall which was great because it felt magical while not drenching you.

We spent a delightful day visiting the Korouoma Canyon, with our charming and friendly guide Artur. The canyon was blanketed in snow, making it very magical and peaceful. Bear in mind the waterfalls are only there in winter, but we are told the canyon is still beautiful in the warmer months. The experience wouldn’t be suitable for travelers with mobility issues, but the hike isn’t too difficult and will be manageable for anyone with moderate fitness. The total walking time is around 2 - 2.5hrs, with some steep descents and an uphill climb of around 10mins at the end. You will stop for plenty of breaks for photos, and a longer break for the provided snack. The canyon is around 1.5 hours from Rovaniemi, so be aware that there is a bit of travel time. However we enjoyed our conversation with Artur during the drive (he also had an excellent playlist!) Highly recommend this experience.

Seen Northern Lights/Aurora? Then this tour, by Book Lapland, with guide Arthur, is highly recommended. What an amazing experience this is. Breathtakingly beautiful tour, and Arthur is one of the best, laid-back guides around, with an eye for the smallest things. Even we, couple of almost 60 years old, with not so good a condition, could hold on. It was besides the Northern Lights tour, the most beautiful thing we did and experienced, really incredible Would book through Book Lapland, a great experience

Really, what a great tour, and tour guide, who explains everything really great and sees and tells the smallest things himself. Nature at its best, an experience, so beautiful those frozen waterfalls, but also nature / everything around it. A tour you shouldn't forget to book when you're here

We had an amazing day at the frozen waterfalls! It was just me, my partner and our guide Artur. We took the +-7km path which had some steep slopes but was overall doable. It provided beautifull views of the frozen waterfalls, as well as sightings of a few bird species. The trail was not too busy so we were able to stop and take in the views, as well as take pictures along the way. Artur was very approachable and we felt comfortable expressing our wants/needs along the way. At the stop, a vegetarian option was provided next to the regular Finnish sausages. Overall, we had a very beautiful and memorable day!
