Join the Original & World’s First Santa Claus & Northern Lights Experience, created by Arctic GM. This evening combines Christmas spirit, Santa and his elves, and the chance to see the Northern Lights.
As Lapland’s Original Aurora Hunters™, our family has lived here for 20 generations since the 1600s. With international awards and 50,000+ guests, Arctic GM is Lapland’s most trusted operator. Every tour is run in-house with certified guides for safety and authenticity.
Your evening begins in Rovaniemi, where a heated coach takes you to our private Arctic lands. Santa’s elves welcome you with stories and festive cheer. Around the bonfire, enjoy hot drinks and a Lapland barbecue before the highlight: a private meeting with Santa Claus. You’ll take free photos, hear stories, and receive a postcard gift that elves can mail worldwide with an official Lapland stamp.
If skies are clear, the Northern Lights may appear above the snowy forest, the perfect backdrop to your Christmas adventure.

5.00We had such a special evening. The elves were great to get the kids (& adults) into the spirit. Santa was just fabulous, really authentic & had lovely stories. We had lots of time with him & he even spoke Irish & French for all the nationalities on the tour! We were fortunate to see the northern lights & the tour guide got great photos of us with Santa. We had lovely treats & food & even got to send a postcard home. 10/10 from start to finish. Thank you Artic GM for a memorable evening we will treasure.

5.00We had a wonderful experience. Our 2 boys (6 & 9) loved it from start to finish. They loved listening to Santa's stories and the way he engaged with everyone. The elves were wonderful too, they really made everyone feel like part of the family. A really great experience. Also the firepit in the centre was brilliant. The boys loved being able to toast their smores and marshmallows. A wonderful experience that I would do again. Also would definitely recommend to family and friends if visiting Lapland. 🙂

5.00Highly recommend this tour! The whole team was amazing, especially Natalie — absolutely 10/10. Food and drinks were included, and the photos were beautiful. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights, which made the evening even more special. Meeting Santa Claus was truly magical, like a fairytale. 100% recommended — an experience you should have at least once in a lifetime. Thank you! ✨❤️🎅🏼

5.00I honestly can’t think of a better Christmas gift for a child than living an experience like this. We did the tour with my friend and her son and everything felt calm, cozy and magical — no rush, no crowds, just snow, fire, stories and time with Santa. He really listens to the kids and makes them feel special, which was beautiful to see. The elves were lovely, the warm drinks and snacks by the fire were perfect, and sending postcards from Santa’s land was such a sweet touch. We even got Northern Lights at the end ✨ A Christmas memory we’ll never forget ❄️🎅

5.00Wow what an amazing experience from start to finish. Our guide Vanessa was lovely and friendly and really took care of us. When we arrived the elves were delightful and playful and took care of everything. Santa was beyond amazing and truly captivating and magical. Unfortunately we didn't get to see the Northern Lights but the whole night was truly spectacular due to all the staff. We'll be telling everyone how brilliant it was and to book it as it was superb value for the magic it created and we'll remember for years to come.

5.00Although we didn't stand a chance of seeing the Northern lights due to the dense fog, the evening was still amazing! First of all our guide - Alex was very friendly and informative. Talking to us all the way. Once we arrived at the location it was very quiet and peaceful, we were greeted off the bus by 3 of Santa's elves and taken to a tepee in the forest. The snow was thick and it was quite cold, but inside the tepee was a lovely warm fire surrounded by benches covered with fur. The elves were very entertaining, singing, dancing and chatting with us all. We toasted marshmallows, which my son loved, had cookies and hot chocolate. Then Santa arrived! He was just amazing! Spent time talking with the children, telling stories, and singing songs. It didn't feel rushed, instead it felt personal and special. A truly amazing experience for my little boy. Santa stayed around an hour, then the elves took over again. They provided more hot drinks, hot dogs, cookies and marshmallows to toast. The elves continued with their fantastic entertainment until it was time to leave. Although the walk back to the bus was only about 80 meters, it took a long time as the kids and the elves played in the snow! A truly magical experience that I highly recommend. Thank you so much Arctic GM!
