Dress for the weather. We recommend swim suits, shorts or synthetic clothing. Avoid cotton.
Secure footwear such as sport sandals are ideal. Although we provide river gear free of charge.
Minimum age is 13 years of age (16) during high water.

What To Expect
Royal Gorge Zip Line Tours
Join us on the world-renowned half day Royal Gorge trip. The Royal Gorge Region of Colorado is a rugged wonderland of scenic hills, plunging canyons, and swift moving water. Formed over millions of years as the Arkansas River cut into the rising granite of the Colorado Plateau, the steep canyon is more than 1,200ft deep and, in some locations, less than 50 ft. Wide. The broken, mountainous landscape makes it an ideal location for adventure seekers looking for new ways to challenge themselves in the amazing outdoors. The class III, IV, (V) whitewater of the Royal Gorge features many exciting rapids such as Sunshine Falls, Sledgehammer, and the Narrows, just to name a few.

5.00We did a half day trip on a day when the rapids were extremely high (higher than we signed up for). I truly appreciate the attention and instructions the guides and employees gave us to understand the power of mother nature. It was a wild ride but I appreciate that they had skilled kayakers tracking our rafts so I felt very safe. I'll be back (probably for a class 3 LOL).

5.00My daughter and I had an amazing time white water rafting with Rebeca as our guide! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience both fun and safe. The rapids were thrilling, the scenery was stunning, and everything was organized perfectly. If we’re ever back in Colorado, we’ll definitely be booking with Royal Gorge Rafting again — highly recommended!

5.00Wyatt was an incredible guide!! He made the trip so much fun. Royal Gorge Rafting was the best outfitters we have ever used. They supplied everything we needed. We could not have asked for a better experience. The pictures they took are incredible First class operation!!! We will be back.

5.00This was my third rafting experience. By far, the most memorable Epic adventure to date. The office/gear area was clean. everyone was super helpful and good hearted. Our guide, Josie was super chill and helped get us all safely through a unique experience with the water conditions. Also, the bar/ restaurant connected, exceeded our expectations. A party of 6, everyone loved all the food. Would highly recommend Royal Gorge rafting!!
