  Rum making was very informative and fun. You get to create your own rum and name it. Also we purchased round trip transportation with them it was 20 per person.

  What a fun and also educational experience in a perfect atmosphere with high quality ingredients. We love rum, we didn’t know what it expect but wow it was so organized and we drank and made our favorite flavors of rum. It was such a fun experience!! Highly recommend!!   I had a ball making my own bottle of Rum and gave it a special name. Named after my dad that passed this summer. I highly recommend taking this class solo or with a partner. Bring your drink pallet because there will be rum tasting.

  My husband and I each flavored and bottled our own bottle of rum. The whole experience was really fun and informative. The staff were fun and knowledgeable. We had a great time with the tastings and then creating our own flavor. It was so interesting to mix and taste the flavors before we decided on our final flavors - orange and star anise for me and almond, coconut, mixed spices for him. They are both delicious and we are excited to create cocktails. This was a fun experience in a beautiful setting. We would do it again! Helpful hint: Figure out what you want to call your rum before you get there. One of the first things you do is name your bottle!

  Our visit to the Rum Academy in Antigua was an absolute highlight of our trip! From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in the fascinating world of Caribbean rum-making. We sampled a variety of rums — some impressively strong — and then had the chance to create our own custom blend, which was both fun and surprisingly challenging. The experience was made truly special by our wonderful host, Jody, whose engaging, personable, and friendly manner instantly put us at ease. Her deep knowledge of rum, paired with her great sense of humor and warm encouragement, made the entire session both educational and entertaining. She has a gift for making everyone feel welcome and involved, no matter their level of experience. We also want to extend our thanks to Jody’s lovely colleague (whose name escapes us, unfortunately!) for her warmth and support throughout the session. Her quiet attentiveness and kind presence added to the welcoming atmosphere and made the experience even more enjoyable. And of course, a big thank you to Imran, our driver, who took us to and from the Academy with care and good cheer. His knowledge of the island, his sense of humor, and his warm, friendly manner made the journey just as memorable as the destination. He was a fantastic guide and a pleasure to spend time with. If you're visiting Antigua and looking for a unique, fun, and flavorful experience, the Rum Academy is a must. We left with great memories, a bottle of our own creation, and a newfound appreciation for the art of rum-making. Highly recommended!

  If you’re ever in Antigua, you should definitely do this class - my husband and I have been to several rum tours in the Caribbean and this is hands down the best rum activity we’ve ever done. And the personalized bottles were a beautiful touch❤️

  I had an incredible experience at the rum-making class in Antigua! From start to finish, it was fun, informative, and absolutely delicious. The hosts did a fantastic job of explaining the history and process behind rum while keeping everything lively and engaging. If you’re visiting Antigua and want to do something memorable, I can’t recommend this class enough.
