We had an amazing time with our guide Karla during the tour! Only 4 customers including the three of us, it felt like a private tour! She greeted us at the meeting point with cold water and a fan (it was a very hot day). We cycled through the backstreets of Hoi An, the rice fields, stopping at rice harvesting, an organic vegetable garden, had some great herbal tea while asking Karla all the questions we had (she is VERY knowledgeable and genuinely happy to answer). We planted some morning glory vegetables. We continued cycling to a quiet coconut boat spot where we were only 3 boats on that stretch of the river. Then we arrived at the cooking class place where the table was nicely set with some nice cold lemongrass tea. We made three excellent dishes and ate all! It was a lot of fun! We continued asking any question we had. We didn't feel rushed at all, it wasn't too long either. Everything was just perfect! My 8 year old daughter loved the whole experience too. We also learned that the founder of this company supports local communities by involving the locals etc, which is great! Highly recommend the tour!

It’s honestly hard to put into words how incredible this tour was. The energy and passion Kun brought made the entire experience unforgettable—truly the best guide I’ve ever had. This is one of those days that will stay with us forever. Being able to genuinely connect with local communities and meet such kind, welcoming people who shared their daily lives with us was incredibly special. We couldn’t recommend this experience more highly.

Thank you, Anh for the fantastic experience in the Hoi An countryside. This tour included so much and each activity was unique, well planned, and fun. There were so many different activities but nothing ever was rushed and my husband and I had a great time. Anh was knowledgeable, friendly, and energetic. She was the perfect host, making our visit to Hoi An unforgettable. Ask for her to be your guide!!

Vy was an incredible guide and we did two tours with her! We found the company through a free tour through Guru walks (you tip what you want) and then signed up for the cycle and cooking class tour. We got so much out of the experience — we got to visit a family garden, local market to try fruits, a coconut boat ride, and a fun cooking class that was delicious! Vy included local businesses and makers which we really appreciated. Learned a lot about the culture and felt both tours were amazing deals!!

There were three of us because one person was sick - as it was family, we had a very private tour. Our tour guide Nhat went with us. He was able to give us a lot of information, more than we expected. He was funny and interested in our lives. This allowed a lively exchange to develop. Getting an impression of rural life was impressive for us as we grew up on a farm ourselves. Even cooking Vietnamese was a great experience and the food together was delicious and wonderful. Nhat has allowed us an unforgettable experience Thank you for that. Nhat could explain well and spoke good English at a suitable pace for us. A big thank you to Nhat for that too.

Amazing experience with Nguyên who was friendly and knowledgeable! We went cycling through the rural parts of the city, met a local organic farmer who was extremely sweet, took a short coconut boat ride and wrapped up with a simple but delicious cooking class. Our guide had so much to share and was very kind and funny. She told us about the rice fields and other common crops and animals that we passed by. At the end we were very hungry and we made three courses that was plenty to fill us up. 10/10 would recommend

Brilliant afternoon cycling, boat riding and cooking in rural Hoi An! June was a phenomenal guide, she really felt like a friend giving us an authentic tour. We loved trying local drinks and cycling around the fields. The boat ride was very pretty and the cooking class was excellent!! Catered very well for vegan options 🌱 Thanks again June for an excellent afternoon! 10/10 recommend for anyone with a few days visiting Hoi An 😊

What a fantastic experience! I did the rural Hoi An tour with my mum and sister and our outstanding guide June. We loved cycling through the lesser seen parts of Hoi An and the cooking class was a highlight - delicious food and kind, talented chefs sharing their knowledge. June was a super friendly and generous host, sharing her passion for Hoi An and her knowledge of the local cuisine, language and culture. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. We will be sure to have more Rua Ma and cook some more Vietnamese pancakes when we can!
