  • Ruta de Las Flores Tour

This tour affords you the opportunity to visit historic towns and sites outside of San Salvador; otherwise, you must rent a car to visit these locations. Lunch at the coffee farm was pleasant. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, although the allotted time to explore each town was very short.

Wendy and Sandra were amazing! Wendy was very knowledgeable about the history of each town we visited, and provided bilingual (English & Spanish) explanations. Sandra was a rockstar navigating the route and getting us to each stop safely.

This trip was fantastic. Our tour guide, Wendy, was the sweetest person, and told us so much about every town and village we visited. (Our driver Sandra was amazing, too -- and our hotel was way up a mountain, which she navigated perfectly.) The coffee plantation restaurant was so beautiful, and overall we just had an amazing time getting to know El Salvador better. The extra stop at Cafe Albania was super fun, too.

  • Reliable agency but service can be improved

I did the Santa Ana Volcano, Lake Coatepeque, and the Ruta de Las Flores tours from Santa Ana. Both tours were guided by David. The guide was very attentive to my needs; I had my time and time to explore everything, and he provided me with lots of useful information about both the places we visited and El Salvador. For the Santa Ana Volcano, the service provided only included transportation from the hotel to the start of the trek, after which you'll be assigned to a local guide. It's an easy trek if you're a bit fit, but once you reach the top, the view is truly spectacular! Back at the parking lot, we headed to Lake Coatepeque: it's a very touristy place with plenty of restaurants, but I had the opportunity to swim and try out a jet ski (not included in the tour), which was great fun! For the Ruta de Las Flores, we visited four picturesque towns, and since it was a Saturday, we had lunch at the Festival de la Comida with a fun show by a local comedian. The only problem was that David didn't know I was supposed to do the coffee experience. When I let him know, he said it was too late to do it because it had to be done first thing in the morning and would take an hour. So he called the agency manager and told him it hadn't been confirmed by the coffee plantation owner: I hadn't been notified. So, to make up for it, David took me to a beautiful panoramic restaurant on a coffee plantation, and I was able to choose the best coffee and dessert, paid for by the agency. Overall, it was a great experience, and I recommend this agency for your tours in El Salvador!

Stefany was an amazing tour guide. She was informative with El Salvador’s history and most importantly made the experience memorable. Additionally, we all shared lots of laughs and I would recommend this experience to everyone!

Our tour guide (Estefany) was very helpful and very knowledgeable on the history of El Salvador. She made sure we were all okay and gave us varied options on what we wanted to do. She even gave us wonderful recommendations on what foods to try. She is an extremely sweet and easy going. Definitely recommend her as a tour guide!

Overall was a pleasant experience. The small group size was perfect. It is a lot of in and out of the van, but luckily it is air conditioned and comfortable. However, if you are expecting “coffee” I would lower your expectations as we only stopped at one coffee shop that wasn’t really a coffee farm and had 2, 1/4 cups of coffee. We got to see towns that otherwise I wouldn’t have visited but for the price of the tour I don’t think it’d recommend it. Our guide was very nice and communicative.

I enjoyed all of them. EC tours El Salvador are the best. Professional on time and so accommodating. Thank you
