Sabeto Mud Bath/ Hot Springs. If you go BRING FOOD, not for yourself, but to feed THE 4 STARVED DOGS who live there. Shame on the owners, who have the lava mud and thermal springs free from the Gods, yet have no gratitude nor mercy to share this good fortune, with these poor creatures. The workers, local Fijians arrive each day amid these hungry ,suffering emaciated little dogs, and do nothing! Shame on you all! Appalling neglect. Mr Api Nabou, the Manager has promised me that he will now care for these4 SKINNY STARVING DOGS. But if he doesn't, you can ! Bring cooked rice, chicken ,a ham sandwich even. Please.....

I have been to the mud baths twice. And had a good time. Yesterday (March 30th) our family of six went to the baths. We are all dog lovers and seeing the state of the poor, starving dogs was very disturbing. Mother dogs were in bad shape, so skinny and ribs showing. Really put a downer on the experience. Please feed your dogs!

Sabeto hot mud bath is a great place to hideaway from busy traffic in Nadi town. I don’t know what your expectations are but it’s very plain . You put mud all over body and wait to dry up and then you move from one pool to another. I recommend going there by yourself rather than a tour. If you have a rent car just drive there. The customer service is amazing and it’s a safe.

We were picked from our resort on time, not Fiji time :) Garden of the Sleeping Giant was beautiful with all those exotic and colorful orchids. Good place for a short hike...and then some refreshing fruit juice from the staff The Sabeto mud baths...that was something else. It was a awesome, covering your whole body with mud and sun bathing with it. Followed by 3 stage rinsing on hot spring pools. So relaxing! And our driver was so nice and polite, from start to finish of our whole tour. I would recommend this to everyone.

Nine of us took this tour, the gardens were just amazing....super friendly staff provided us with refreshing fruit juice after our walk. Mud baths won everyone over, what’s not to like watching your friends cover themselves from head to toe with mud, so many laughs.....we finished off with an amazing massage for a really reasonable price....our guide provided some cultural context around the importance of the sight...thank you! Finally our marvellous driver, who thought we were cheeky and joined right in..... Highly recommend this tour....

An absolute laugh with friends and family. Something a bit different and great to be able to support a local community.

The tour starts with pickup at various hotels/resorts and then stopping first at the Garden of the Sleeping Giant. We were given about an hour to walk around the garden, which was very picturesque. There's lots of paths to explore at the garden. Before leaving, we were given a refreshing glass of cold juice. Next, was a visit to the hot springs/mud baths. First, we lathered ourselves with mud from a bucket and let it dry on our bodies in the sun. While waiting, our driver guided us around the site and explained the various pools and where the hot spring water comes from. Then came a dip into the mud pool where we washed off as much of the dried mud as possible. The floor of this pool is quite squishy as all the mud that has been washed off visitors' bodies is now laying at the bottom. The pool was a cool-warm temperature, depending on where in the pool you stood. Finally, we transferred to the the hot pool where we soaked and relaxed. This pool was nice and warm, especially closer to where the source water fills the pool. Towels can be rented for 5FJD each. There are facilities to change at and store your belongings while you lather and soak. After the final pool, there are also showers to cleanse off, if you want. Most of us just toweled off and opted to shower back at the hotel. We had a couple which were doing the ZipLine tour with this company, so we had to first drop them off before commencing our visit to the Garden. After our soak at the hot springs, we also picked up the couple from the ZipLine location. Expect the transfers to/from locations to take extra time and also be on bumpy roads. This may be a consideration if you are susceptible to car/motion sickness. The locations of the tour were very nice. Would have preferred to know a few more details about our itinerary and also not having to do the extra transfer to the ZipLine. Our driver was on-time, very friendly and accommodating.
