Our Cultural Safari stands out because we don’t just show places — we connect travelers with the real Dominican culture. What To Expect
Playa Macao
At Macao Beach, you can enjoy both relaxation and adventure. Here, you can relax under the sun, swim in its crystal-clear waters, or take a walk along the shore.
A typical house in Anamuya, in the rural area of Anamuya near Higüey, reflects the simplicity and traditions of the Dominican countryside. It is generally built with wood or concrete blocks, with a zinc roof and a wide front porch where the family sits to talk and enjoy the fresh countryside breeze. Many houses are painted in bright colors such as blue, green, or yellow, creating a warm and Caribbean atmosphere. The yard is usually spacious, with fruit trees like mango, avocado, and plantain. It is also common to see chickens, dogs, and small gardens where they grow cassava, corn, or beans.
