With just 8–10 guests on board, this is an intimate, wind-powered escape - ideal for couples, solo travelers, and families who prefer real sailing over crowded party boats. Feel the breeze as we glide along the coastline at a relaxed pace. Soak up the sun, enjoy the space, and sip a cold drink while our friendly crew serves light snacks and refreshments in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. We'll anchor for a short, optional swim or snorkel stop (weather and route depending). Gear is available, but the focus is on relaxed sailing - calm, quiet, and connected to the sea. No loud music, no crowds - just genuine sailing with heart. With 7+ years of experience, Cape Verde Sailing is trusted for authentic trips and warm hospitality. Note: Due to the damaged pier in Santa Maria, we currently depart from Santa Maria Beach or Bikini Beach. We'll confirm your meeting point after booking. 5.00We wanted to try something different to a catamaran and this was perfect. I booked through trip advisor which was simple. WhatsApp was used to confirm collection. The 2 lads that took us out were great i'm sorry I cant remember your names. They were extremely friendly and obviously love sailing. There was plenty of wine, beer and soft drinks available. The trip was excellent value for money. Half day was good but could of easily sailed for longer. We managed to get some speed up and see flying fish. We all including my 14 year old son really enjoyed it.

5.00We had a fabulous afternoon on the lovely catamaran in the warm breeze and sunshine. setting off from Bikini Beach. The crew were fantastic and a big shout out to Joseph, (Captain), Wesley and Daniel who were expert at making the experience feel safe and exciting. And the real delight was spotting a hump back whale, a group of pilot whales and dolphins. The crew are responsive to the opportunities that present, and were funny and engaging. It was great to see the island from the ocean and admire its natural beauty. Good value for money. Carole and Amari from London

2.00I took a catamaran tour on the island of Sal with my family, recommended by Branco See. Despite the sympathy and good attitude of the staff on board, the experience was short of what is announced. The tour is published as having about 3 hours of duration, with soft drinks, free wine and beer, as well as snacks included. In practice, at the beginning of the tour there was some offer of drinks, accompanied by peanuts or similar. After this initial moment, the availability of drinks was very reduced and only near the end were available some cakes, in a small amount and cut in half. The difference between the service announced and what was actually offered was significant, which eventually generated disillusionment. I leave this comment in the expectation that the service can be reviewed and improved in the future and that Branco See is informed of this situation, avoiding other families from going through the same experience.

5.00Whilst we have done numerous sailing trips on catamarans they are fun trips but lack the raw sailing experience of a single hull vessel. Captain and deck hand were great taking us out and keeping us safe. The waters are a bit choppy so if you haven’t done this before I would recommend travel sickness tablets as my daughter felt a little ill partway through. There were plenty of drinks if required but we only had a couple as we just loved the personal experience of sailing on a 42 ft proper sailing yacht. We had a 2 hour trip round the tip of the island and back before anchoring for a quick dip and some pastry snacks. This was as all about the sailing experience and delivered in spades. My only regret was I wasn’t carrying cash for tips as I did t have any as staying all inclusive and locked the wallet away with the passports. Top tips . Bring travel sickness tablets and cash. Totally recommend.

3.00Unfortunately, there has already been a roll call mix-up during collection. Therefore, we were not put on the sailing yacht, but on the catamaran. Too bad! The crew was great, though.
