We had a great time with super friendly staff.Unfortunately, the wine tasting only presented us with (super good) wines at quite high prices and we regret not visiting the cellars. Despite this, we will return without hesitation

Unfortunately, for me, it was not as advertised. There was not a choice of picnic except bland cold shredded chicken in cold chopped vegetables or a vegetarian cold pasta. We didn't get the starter (they dished it up to another part of our group then told us to share with that table??) and desert was a prepackaged mousse. The baguette was handed to our entire group and told to break it up and pass along. Even the wine was not the €10 euro rose bottle at the taster but instead a poorer quality. Picnic in an area around the back on a bench, whereas if you just go yourself you get the lovely seats, sunshine and view. I felt it was badly executed and basically handled with haste. Sorry, I would not recommend. Go for a tour if you wish but not the picnic or food.

I had high hopes for this tour. The 2 wineries are beautiful with one being more modern than most in the area. The view was incredible! Our guide Isabel was amazing. Very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting. Also, our group was fun which made it a nice experience. HOWEVER, the part that ruined the whole thing was the picnic. Not what I expected at all!! We have done picnics at other vineyards in Italy and USA, always with an excellent assortment of pickys and lunch items. This was embarrassing! You check of on paper what you want, then they microwave some mushy chicken or whatever you choose and bring it in a basket. It was awful! I dont think we had more than one bite. I couldnt believe how sad it was. Why microwaved food in Bordeaux??? Had it been better food we would have ordered more wine and stayed to enjoy the view. Instead we ran, leaving it all there. So gross. Dont bother with the picnic. The execution is so BAD.

Thomas was a great tour guide - friendly and informative and clearly loves his job! The vineyards are in a beautiful valley and we enjoyed the views with our delicious picnic lunch. The wine tasting was fun and just the right amount of tasting and information. We went with our three older teenage children and they loved it too! Thank you.

Amazing trip. Slightly out of town but easily found by car. Friendly greeting. Huge thunderstorm meant the wonderful views were not so wonderful initially but cover and umbrellas sorted all that. Sun came out later as well… Picnic Lunch was great. Tour guide was fantastic. Perfect English and really informative. Embarrassed we can’t name check her but thank you. Really lovely half day start to our visit to Bordeaux area. Good value for money we thought.

It all ends with a picnic with a spectacular view of the vineyards, with appetizer, first course and dessert accompanied by a glass of wine of your choice! A fantastic experience. We were lucky enough it was just myself and my dad on the tour so had a very personal experience. Beautiful grounds across both chateaus. We walked there from saint emillion town. Was a beautiful 30 min walk surrounded by vineyards. We also had the picnic which was excellent, all locally made food - 3 courses! Tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable
