Al Hosn Palace in Salalah, Oman, is a royal palace of the Sultan of Oman. Location:Situated right in the middle of Salalah's old city section, the Haffa District . It's easily accessible Exterior:Grand entrance with a large gate, a clock tower, and high walls surrounding the palace grounds. The well-maintained gardens surrounding the palace feature coconut trees, unique to Salalah compared to other parts of Oman . From outside, you can also see the tops of the palace's domes and minarets. Interior: Not open to the public. You can only admire the exterior.

5.00Beautiful half day with a super guide. Mohammed is great at explaining and telling what he will take you to see! It is also interactive and will involve you in its explanations. We saw the Mosque (not to be missed!!) the sultan’s palace, a very special water source, dromedaries and even had time for some shopping helped by Mohammed and the experience of sipping a freshly cut coconut. The morning really flew away with the comfort of a tour all for us not crowded but moltc cared for and personalized. Thank you Mohammed! If someone comes to Salalah we will definitely give your contact!!

The most memorable moment was undoubtedly the visit to the majestic Sultan Qaboos Mosque, a real architectural wonder that leaves you breathless. Here, our exceptional guide Mohammed accompanied us with detailed and passionate explanations in perfect Italian. Thanks to his deep knowledge, we were able to understand not only the architectural aspects of this jewel, but also all the religious and cultural dynamics related to it, greatly enriching our experience. After the mosque, the visit continued to the city of Salalah, a fascinating place that is absolutely worth exploring. Its colorful markets, quaint streets and authentic atmosphere perfectly completed this half-day of discovery. Mohammed proved to be an exceptional guide, always available to answer our questions and share interesting anecdotes about local culture. His professionalism made this tour not only instructive but also incredibly enjoyable. If you only have half a day in Salalah, this itinerary is the ideal choice to immerse yourself in the beauty and culture of this fascinating Omani city!

5.00Very nice half-day excursion; Mohammed picked us up directly at the hotel, very punctual. He speaks very good Italian and provided us with many explanations, relating not only to the places visited during the excursion but also to Omani customs and traditions (with an extra stop at a very local restaurant on the way back). Highly recommended! (to be taken into consideration as an alternative to the usual tours offered in hotels where you move in groups too large). Thank you so much!
