  I went from London, alone, for the first time, January 1981, I traveled from the train station, through countryside, enjoying the swans in its river, the peaceful green until I reached its majestic, unmatched cathedral. Its stained glass is bluish, structured stately. Then, reading I learned that the Bishop of Chartre (Fr.), marveling at the English building, requested his craftsmen for the design and construction of the majestic Cathedral near Paris. From Salisbury, I took transport to my target: Stonehenge. Mystical, anthropological and historical experience once in a lifetime. Although I repeated from another look, a few years later, during my Honeymoon. I'm back and every time it's a new power connection. If possible, see the different hours of the afternoon, to experience the projections of the sun, its shadows reflected on the ground, the silence of the Hours, the Astral. The Mystery of its last sense, delivered to the experience and imagination of its observer. The visit dates are earlier but the link did not give me a choice. Little does Time matter, if the persistence of His Eternity consists of millennia. Very easy access. It's worth every step and time.
