I had an amazing time with Panaka Travel. My guide Max was very friendly, knowledgeable and funny. During the trek the team takes care of everything: they set up your tent, prepare your meals and even bring you hot water to clean yourself. Would definitely recommend!

  • Lizandro is the man

Lizandro is an amazing guide for the Salkantay Trek - incredibly knowledgeable about the route, the mountain, and the surrounding Sacred Valley, all delivered with a great sense of humour that keeps spirits high on the tough days. He goes out of his way to make sure you’re getting the most out of every stage of the trek, from the high passes to the cloud forest descent into Aguas Calientes. Whether it’s acclimatisation advice, local history, or just keeping the group motivated at 4,600m, Lizandro brings real expertise and warmth to the whole experience. Highly recommended!

Wilbert was an amazing guide — he made sure everything was organized so we could just enjoy the trek. He was always there to help, answer questions, and support anyone who needed it. You can really feel that he cares, not just doing his job but making sure everyone has a great experience. Thanks to him, the whole trek felt smooth, safe, and enjoyable. He is also one of the nicest people I have ever met. Highly recommend! Wilbert: +51 983 827 925

I did the trek with Lizandro as a guide and it was a spectacular experience. The service, the routes, the very good (and healthy) food, and the treatment made this experience an unforgettable one. I did the Salkantay route and the Inca Trail with Lizandro and Kispe as guides. He does a very excellent job. 100 stars for the service.
