You will sip some tropical cocktails, learn the history of salsa in Puerto Rico, hear a live band, and dance with the locals! Join me and experience authentic, cultural nightlife in Puerto Rico that's perfect for couples, solo travelers, and groups.
Now that you've got the moves, you’re ready to hit the dance floor! So we’ll go to a nearby nightlife hot spot where you’ll see a live salsa band and locals dancing! You can join in, or just watch and enjoy the show.

What To Expect
We're the longest running Salsa experience in Puerto Rico! Led by a local Puerto Rican dancer, you'll: 1. Sip a complimentary Caribbean cocktail 2. Learn Latin dancing steps and techniques 3. Get a cultural history lesson about music in the Caribbean 4. Leave for a night out on the town, dancing to a live band at a local Salsa bar! We'll meet up at a rooftop bar where we start with a welcome cocktail as we get to know each other. Then you'll learn the basics to Latin dancing. We'll start with an easy step - "Merengue" to learn the basic techniques. Then we'll learn "Salsa de Calle" - which means "Street Salsa" - the style all the Puerto Rican locals dance. Now you’re ready to hit the dance floor! So we’ll travel to a nearby nightlife hot spot where you’ll see a live Salsa band & locals dancing! You can join in, or just watch and enjoy the show. The experience is rain or shine. The meetup location is a rooftop bar, however there is an indoor area available in the case of rain. You don't need any prior dancing experience. We go to different Salsa bars on different nights of the week, to the live music venue will vary depending on what night you book.

5.00I mostly took this for the second half of the trip to a local dance place, but I was pleased with the beginner lesson too. I’ve never had a merengue lesson so that was good. La Placita is walking distance to the park where you take the lesson. The only thing I’d suggest is to update the location of the lesson and/or provide cross streets. The lesson wasn’t held by the covered area of the park but in an open air spot, and some other women said they also thought it was over there at first. Gracias Titi Angie for an amazing night!

5.00This was my wife’s favorite thing we did and it’s easy to see why. We had an absolute blast learning how to dance considering neither of us are very good. We had to uber there but the bar that we ended up at was literally across the street from our Airbnb. Adrianna (I think that was her name) was an amazing teacher and she drove us to the bar/home. The way she describes how to dance was engaging and easy to understand. Then when we went to the bar, it was hectic but we had an absolute blast.

4.00The experience was lovely, it was fun although we got hit w some rain. We made the most of it and went to the coolest salsa bar club w a live band which was so cool to see and experience. The locals are exceptional dancers 10/10 Overall I would recommend for beginner beginners in salsa
