The mines were amazing and a very unique and unforgettable experience. Really amazing to explore. Visiting Vlad's tomb was also a delight. Bogdan was a great guide and loved to explain the history and context of everything. He was also very accommodating.

Honestly think this was an overpriced tour with nothing included for the price. Only one big thing was the salt mine and that is only reason why giving it two stars. As far as our tour guide? Not happy! He barely spoke and most of the time, we would ask something just to engage in a conversation. Over 15yrs of using Viator tours and have to say this was the first time we encountered a tour guide who barely talked.

We did the Salt Mine, Lunch at Winery and Dracula Grave Tour and it was incredible from start to finish. Our guide Bogdan was really great. He is full of history and knew how to bring every stop to life in a way that was easy to follow. I also loved that it was a small group. It ended up just being one other person along with my boyfriend and me, so a total of three. It felt relaxed and personal which made the whole day even better. Every stop had something unique to offer. The salt mine was unreal, lunch at the winery was delicious and peaceful, and visiting Dracula’s grave was one of those experiences that you simply have to be there for to really feel the moment. *Important to note* this is basically just a guided transportation tour: entrance fees to the Salt Mines, Grave, and Lunch are not included, you pay out out of pocket. I was aware of this, and the company is very transparent about this information through their tour description communications. Just sharing it here again so you're not surprised lol! Highly recommend this tour if you want something memorable and a little different from the usual itinerary. Bogdan made it even better.

Tour guide was very knowledgeable easy to talk to and very good English. Beautiful views and my booking for two people on the tour so was more even more special ❤️ When ordering taxi just type in the address, ignore the information about meeting at artisan Fountain. I made this error and needed three taxis to take us back to 21 Decemberie fortunately . The tour guide even spoke to taxi driver to communicate drop of point. Due to only our booking for this excursion the tour guide was able to wait for us otherwise would’ve lost out on our tour as was 1 hour late despite arriving initially at correct location 40 mins earlier.

It was such a cozy and nice trip, and we really enjoyed Lauras and the other tourists companion. Even though when we arrived back home, the traffic was horrible, and we were stuck for over an hour, but Laura was really professional and apologized many times, even though it wasn’t her fault at all!

I really enjoyed this trip led by Laura and her colleague George. They were knowledgeable and answered my questions. The salt mine, while it is a little bit of a drive, it was definitely worth it. Impressive. I also enjoyed the nice lunch at the winery and the church and visit to Vlad. The Impalers site was a good compliment on the way home. Definitely recommend.
