During the trip, you will visit one of the oldest working Salt Mines in the World – the Wieliczka’s Salt Mine, which has been producing table salt for over 700 years! Your English speaking guide will take you up to 140 meters underground for a 2,5-hours journey through over 2,5-kilometres long tourist route full of chambers with amazing carvings and statues and large collection of mining machines and equipment, where everything is made of salt. Please note that to reach the first level of the mine (64 metres underground), you have to descent a wooden stairway which has 378 steps. After the tour, you will be taken up to the surface with a lift.

5.00Very worth visiting the salt mines. What a huge complex and what beautiful salt sculptures. Our driver Daniel from Krakow Touristico took us to the entrance and waited for us afterwards, a friendly driver and everything fine arranged.

5.00We booked this tour with Touristico Cracow after having an excellent experience with them the day before at Auschwitz-Birkenau. Once again, everything was perfectly organized. Our driver Konrad arrived right on time and was incredibly professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. On the way, he shared the history of the places we passed. You could tell he truly cared about making sure we understood where we were going, what to expect, and where to be next. We always felt guided, never rushed or confused. The tour itself was smooth, well coordinated, and easy to follow. The Salt Mine is absolutely worth seeing. It’s unique, impressive, and something you don’t forget. We were very glad we chose Touristico Cracow again. Reliable service. Clear communication. Kind, respectful drivers who take care of everything. Highly recommend!

5.00Booked our trip to the Salt Mines through Touristico. Wiktor was so helpful and arranged everything for us. Collected us from our hotel at the time arranged. Gave us lots of great information on route and collected us at the end of the trip to take us back to our hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for Wiktor. He was punctual, friendly and knowledgeable. Also booked a trip to Austwich and Birkenau. Again, everything was perfect.

5.00Arranged the trip at short notice for myself and my sister. Wiktor was so helpful arranging the trip, sorting out our tickets and everything. He picked us up directly from our hotel at the time arranged. Gave us lots of useful information about the Salt Mines whilst we were on route and collected us for our return journey when we asked him to. This place is definitely worth a visit. Also booked a trip to Austwich and Birkenhau through Wiktors company. Again it was a fantastic experience with lots of interesting information on route. I would 100% recommend booking any trips through Wiktor. Punctual, friendly, informative. Thank you for everything Wiktor.
