Amazing experience with Justin being our guide. Great views and even a quick stop at the beach Taxi service was good as well for a seamless pick up and drop off from port. Highly recommended fun

Fantastic time and so much fun. Highly recommended! It will be dusty, so be sure to wear face protection, and don't forget sunscreen.

Great time after getting over not being able to ride the UTV, instead riding dune buggies. Once we arrived we were told the UTVs were not working and we had to ride the dune buggies instead. Its more expensive to ride the UTV so the "offset the cost" with no fee for transportation to and from our resort. I just didn't appreciate they knew about their faulty equipment before we arrived but didn't inform us until after we got there. They even called us and told us not to pay for transportation, shady. Overall the ride was adventurous and the 15 minute beach stop was beautiful.

The dune buggies were fun and fast, but we were not aware that the tour would end in us covered in mud when we booked it. We rode mostly through cow pastures and farms. We would have liked to have more than 1 beach to see. The guides were nice, but be aware you have to pay for transportation to the place.

Great experience. So much fun. If you’re looking to do something adventurous this is it. Get ready to get dirty. But it’s worth it. Guides take you on a fun off road muddy adventure. Take face covering and wear coming that is washable do not wear your favorite shoes. Enjoy

We have driven ATVs and UTVs in many countries and this was one of the best experiences. The ride was intense and muddy and we had a blast!!!

The tour was booked for the morning of 26th November. By late afternoon on 25th November, we had still not received any communication from the tour provider, telling us where to meet. On our last visit to Antigua, Salty Dogs was based in offices at the quayside, and we walked from the ship. They had now moved, maybe with a new owner?? We contacted the tour provider to establish where we should meet. We did this by phone messaging and by email (the email address from the website AND through the booking portal). We informed the tour provider of our contact mobile number, and confirmed that it was the best way to contact us. There was no answer when we called the phone number from the booking, and the email address from the website was returned to us as undeliverable. Eventually at 5:01pm on 25th November, we had an email via the booking portal. The instructions were to meet in the Antigua Commercial Bank parking lot south, across from the cruise port. On the morning of the tour, we arrived at the meeting point at 9:10am. After about 10 minutes, the parking lot attendant asked if he could help. We told him we were meeting Salty Dogs, and he advised us that’ Zoom’ would be along in a moment. He laughed and said that wasn’t his real name; he had been called ‘Zoom’ as a child as he ran very fast. Approx. 5 minutes later, he called out to another person who was walking towards the quayside, to tell ‘Zoom’ that we were waiting, and reassured us that he would be along shortly. By 9:45am, we were concerned. We called 2 different numbers, which played out a standard message – this number was not being connected. 01 268 736 8687 – Salty Dogs website - could not be connected 01 268 725 2669 – contact number on booking – could not be connected [email protected] - all emails were returned as Undeliverable. [email protected] - all emails were returned as Undeliverable. We became really concerned, as both of the emails sent the previous day were returned as undeliverable. At 9:50am, we decided to search the block, and asked local people for help. No-one had heard of Salty Dogs; no-one could help. The security guard at the ACB private parking lot had never heard of Salty Dogs. There was nobody holding a sign, or calling out, or any taxi van with Salty Dogs, or 268 Buggies advertised on the side. By 10:10am, we decided to abandon all hope of the tour going ahead, and made other plans as our ship was only in port for a few hours, and we didn't want to waste the day. The offer from the tour provider to re-schedule the time was not received by us until it was too late. He had emailed us via the booking portal, which we did not have access to, as we were off the ship. We had expressly told him to contact us by mobile phone. Why didn't he just call us, and speak to us, so that we could have sorted it out? In summary:- The tour provider failed to make contact from the outset. Advertised contact numbers did not connect; advertised email addresses were returned as undeliverable. I believe that the tour provider never intended for the tour to go ahead at the designated time. I believe that he was at the cruise port entrance, trying to secure additional bookings for that day; I believe that he was not at the designated meeting point at all, and only offered us an alternative time because we contacted Viator to request a refund. Our refund request has been declined, as we did not take him up on the re-scheduled time, a request we did not receive until we had returned to the ship. We have had no joy from Viator and we are reluctant to book any tours in future.

Was picked up exactly at the time they gave, very punctual! Although they do offer transportation, the cost of pick up is separate from the excursion itself. The overall ride was fun and exciting! Be prepared to get muddy, which makes the trip all the more exciting! The length of the ride was longer than most buggy rides, which I enjoyed & we got to take in some amazing scenery/ views! Don't be like me and forget your glasses and a bandana for your eyes/ face , extremely dusty, which is to be expected. Only thing I would recommend is giving the opportunity for drivers to switch. There is an opportunity at the beach ( About 10 Min stop you can take pictures, go by the water, and they do provide beverages) but the ride back from the beach is about 5-7 min compared to the whole hour trip you take for the adventure. Overall a great/ fun excursion and I would recommend 😎🤩

We had a great time on this tour! Joel led us all over varying terrain including the beach.! We chose the 430pm tour so that we could see the sunset. We wound up being the only people on the tour. So it was great without having to stop and wait for other people to catch up. Joel let us to the beach, a private secluded beach that you can only get to by four wheel vehicle. We got there in time for the sunset and we’re able to get out and take some pictures and spend a little bit of time. It was absolutely beautiful. Then driving home was an adventure in itself driving in the dark with sunglasses.lol We had a great time. Definitely recommended to others and highly recommend the 4:30 PM tour..
