Farol da Barra
Located where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Bay of All Saints, the Barra Lighthouse is one of Salvador’s most iconic landmarks. Built in the 17th century, it guided countless ships entering the bay and now houses the Nautical Museum of Bahia. The lighthouse offers breathtaking ocean views, especially at sunset, when the sky turns gold and orange. It’s a perfect spot to start your journey through Salvador — history, beauty, and sea breeze combined in one panoramic experience.
Dique de Tororo
The Dique do Tororó is a scenic lake surrounded by gardens and sculptures honoring the Orixás — the deities of Afro-Brazilian religion. It’s one of the few natural water bodies in Salvador and a beautiful symbol of Bahia’s spiritual fusion. The statues reflect the strength and presence of African culture in everyday Bahian life. From here, you can take wonderful panoramic photos of the city skyline, feeling the peace and mysticism that make Salvador unique.

Juan was an awesome tour guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend this tour. We saw more on this private tour than the folks saw taking the ship excursion. Exceptional.

Ricardo and Samuel were wonderful! They presented Salvador in a wonderful way to our international researchers who were delighted with our city and the script made by the City Tour Salvador.

I only had one day to meet a people of Salvador, and choosing Citytoursalvadorba was the best choice! Samuel is a dear, he set up a script where I was able to get to know the project of sister Dulce, the church of the lord of Bonfim, we had lunch at the pelourinho in the coliseu restaurant where I was very well served and delicious food in the heart of the pelourinho, I knew more about the pelourinho and the museum of mercy with a surreal view! I want to do all the walks hahahahaha

All wonderful! Since the online care. Friendly, attentive and helped us a lot with valuable tips. The guides and drivers were super attentive, caring and helpful — it was an amazing experience, note 1000! We traveled in group with a 4-month-old baby and, as a mother, I felt very welcomed and happy with all the care and attention with my baby. They always prioritized comfortable places for him and even offered us an umbrella to protect him from the sun — a simple but affectionate gesture. Not to mention that Salvador is adorable, beautiful and with a rich history! A journey that will stay in the heart! Note 1000 to the agency.
