Along the way, you will discover not only the artistic value of the zoomorphic and geometric engravings on the sandstone rock, but also the heritage of the Chané and Inca cultures that made this place a strategic ceremonial center.

Close in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, the value is 350 BOB, for foreigners. But the best option is to sleep in the city of Samaipata and close the ride to the fort the day before. Arriving at the fort, if you are more interested in historical facts hire a guide available at the fort at the time of the tour. The hired, go to take pictures

An interesting place to meet, in a very beautiful environment. The activity very complete, with leaving with a typical breakfast of the area, the tour of the Fort, lunch in the village, wine tasting and finishing by pool in a resort.

Samaipata is an amazin arqueologic place! It a little far away from Santa Cruz de la Sierra but worth it! We had a private guide at the site and the explanation was brilliant! Luch could be better, in fact, it was the first time I didn't like a Bolivian dish

Very beautiful, extensive and striking place. It is not exactly in Samaipata, you need to take a van from the city to El Fuerte. There are several vans in the city, but they only leave with a minimum number of people, both on the way there and on the way back. The place is very high and the trail is long, you will spend at least an hour, but it is worth it. Another thing, prepare for strong winds. Bring your water, use sunscreen and apply insect repellent.
