We had an absolutely fantastic day tour around Samarkand's main sights with Olimjon – he is incredibly knowledgable, great fun and helped us to really make the most of only having a very short time in this magnificent city.

Olimjon was my guide for two days in Samarkand. First day was the city tour and the second was a day trip to Shahrisabz. Honestly, he made the whole experience so much better than I expected. Really nice! From the first few minutes, it felt like hanging out with an old friend rather than a formal tour guide. He just has this way of making you feel comfortable and at ease. The city tour was perfectly balanced. He's clearly knowledgeable and explained everything really well, but never info-dumped or made it feel like a boring lecture. Just the right mix of history, context, and practical tips for the rest of my Uzbekistan trip. Plus, he took some great photos of me! :) The Shahrisabz day trip was honestly one of the highlights of my entire time in Uzbekistan. He came with a car and dedicated driver, and the whole day was seamless. We made stops at a local market, pulled over for stunning landscape views, and he had an eye for the best photo opportunities along the way. I didn't have to think about or plan a single thing. He just took care of everything!!! The best part? He recommended this amazing spot for lunch where we shared food and swapped stories about life. Those spontaneous moments are what made the tour really special. If you're considering Olimjon as your guide, this is your sign to book him. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and that passion shows in every part of the experience. Can't recommend him enough!

I’m glad that I take the private tour, since my time is tight, the private tour can just meet my time slot. They contacted me soon after booking, and provided valuable information before journey. My guide was Shukhrat, he was friendly and professional. I’m not familiar with Islamic history and religion, I learned a lot from the tour and stories he told. It’s much better to hear them from a guide than searching from google. He suggests me some local Kimchi which are tasty. Above all, they introduce another private guide in Bukhara. The lady is very friendly and commutative. Since we had no time for the lunch she bought us samosa and helped us to order and take away dinner, and taxi to the station. She told us very interesting stories and put questions relating those sights, which made the tour being interactive.

My tour in Samarkand with Olimjon was a great experience. He was very smart and accommodating, especially with my tight schedule. Before we even started, he asked what kind of information I wanted to focus on, which really showed how thoughtful and efficient he is as a guide. I love architecture, decoration, and history, so he centered the tour around those topics and explained everything in a clear and engaging way. He is a great teacher and was able to answer all of my questions while encouraging my curiosity. He also gave me excellent recommendations for local restaurants. Olimjon is very knowledgeable, kind, and professional, and the fact that he runs his own tour company really shows in the quality of his work. I highly recommend him for anyone visiting Samarkand.

We had a great quick tour with Olimjon! He was super flexible to get us where we wanted to go within a short time period - we did some shopping, he was really helpful in identifying items and negotiating, and then did some sight seeing with the rest of our time. He organized everything really well so we had minimal transit time between sites, were never waiting on the car/it was always ready to pick us up and take us to the next spot. Several of our group had already been on prior tours and said Ominjon's was the best and with the greatest depth of information. Great experience and highly recommend!
