The first stop of the day is an exciting visit to a local cultural icon, the Alamo, where you will stand in the footsteps of heroes before. Get up close and personal with some of the Alamo’s largest weapons and fortifications- the 16 pounder cannon, palisades, and barracks.
Next, take in an enriched combination of San Antonio’s history and region within national parks as you experience the stories of people who came into the Spanish missions in the 1700s.
For the thrill-seekers, take an elevator ride up 190 m (623 ft) to the top of Tower of the Americas to witness the most magnificent view of the city.
Finally, take in the world-renowned 15-mile urban waterway on a relaxing, 35-minute River Walk Cruise to immersive with the city’s culture, history, and architecture.
Once your feet are back on the ground, your tour guide will return you safely to your downtown hotel, or arranged destination.

3 sights and lots of driving in between. Our guide did not have a microphone, therefore people in the back of the vehicle could not hear. Very little historical information given

Fun way to see San Antonio and learn more about the history! Our tour guide Scott was very kind and ensured everyone had a great time. I’m really glad we did this tour as it made our time in San Antonio memorable.

The tour itself was fine. But I met at the exact location according to my booking, and my tour guide was not there. She called and was giving me confusing landmarks in a city I’ve never been to before. I got frustrated looking for her, and one she found me, I basically had to beg her for forgiveness in order to be allowed on the tour bus. I had apologized, but she refused to shake my hand and take my word that I would not let my frustration spill into the rest of the tour. I was humiliated and meant to feel like a petulant child when I as a single female traveler was just scared (my uber driver who dropped me off at the Marriott RC specifically told me to be wary of the homeless people around the area). It wasn’t until I practically begged on my knees and was in tears that she let me onto the tour. I don’t know if she had me on speaker phone or what she told the couple that was already in the van that made them think I was going to be a problem, but they had already turned against me as well. I just needed a moment to call down and feel settled but was treated like I was going to be some horrible presence on the tour, which I was not. This was my 4th or 5th time using Viator and never had this issue before. I would say do a better job giving clear instructions on where to meet and understand that single women travelers have different safety concerns than men or people traveling in groups.
