I would highly recommend this tour company. We did the Lombard tour and our guide was Aaron. He was incredible! Very knowledgeable and humorous. The open window mini bus is perfect for viewing all the sites. They even give you a blanket in the event it’s cold. As they visit each site, they will turn the bus around so each side can get pictures. Don’t use any other company and if you get Aaron as your guide, then that is a major bonus!

We had an excellent experience with Dylan’s Tours. We took the tour upon our arrival in San Francisco since we had never visited the city before. The tour gave us a great overview of the city. We enjoyed stories and anecdotes from a local, talked about local food and activities and left with a list of places that we decided to go back and explore further. I recommend this tour!

We were in town for a nursing convention and overheard this was a great tour. It did not disappoint! The host was well versed about the city and its history. The vehicle was comfortable and blankets were provided. The open air atmosphere allowed for fantastic views, and surprisingly the smell of forests, the bay, delicious food. Very pleased with our experience and we feel it completed our San Francisco visit in the best way. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect way to see the best of San Francisco when time is limited. It was a small group (only 4 of us) so it felt personal and adapted to us. The tour was only 90 mins but we got to see so much and I am really pleased we booked this trip. Highly recommended if time is limited and you want to really get to see San Francisco.

If you're visiting San Francisco and trying to fit a lot into a short trip, this tour is honestly one of the smartest ways to do it. We started with Alcatraz, which completely lived up to the hype. The ferry ride alone gives you incredible views of the skyline, Golden Gate Bridge, and the Bay, and once on the island the audio tour was fascinating and surprisingly emotional. Walking through the prison cells and hearing the stories from former guards and inmates made the whole experience feel very real. After Alcatraz, we met up for the Lombard Leap open-air tour and that ended up being the highlight of the day. The smaller vehicle made a huge difference compared to the big buses you see everywhere in the city. We could actually get through neighborhoods, hear the guide clearly, and stop for photos without feeling rushed. Driving down Lombard Street in an open-air vehicle was such a fun experience and something you really cannot appreciate the same way from a regular tour bus. We covered so much of San Francisco in just 90 minutes. North Beach, Chinatown, Russian Hill, the Presidio, Palace of Fine Arts, the waterfront, and some amazing views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Our guide was entertaining the entire time and mixed history with local stories and recommendations that made the city feel alive instead of scripted. What I really appreciated was how organized everything felt. Instructions were clear, timing worked well, and it never felt overwhelming even with multiple parts to the tour. This combo gave us the perfect balance between exploring on our own at Alcatraz and then having a fun, guided city experience afterward. If you want a tour that feels more personal, energetic, and uniquely San Francisco, this is absolutely worth booking.

I booked the Lombard Leap on a Thursday morning and it was the perfect start to our SF trip! Pick up was easy to find. I would recommend sitting near the front of the van as easier to hear. Open air van provided lots of fresh air and amazing views. Our guide was so knowledgeable and passionate about the city it was great. A really great way to tick loads of sights off the list without having to tackle the hills on foot.

If you’re looking for a fun, high-energy way to experience San Francisco without committing to a full-day tour, the Lombard Leap 90-minute tour absolutely delivers. This ended up being one of the highlights of our trip and a perfect introduction to the city. What makes this experience stand out right away is the open-air format. Instead of sitting inside a bus, you’re out in the fresh air with unobstructed views, which makes a huge difference in a city like San Francisco where the scenery is constantly changing. From the moment we started, it felt more like an adventure than a typical tour. The highlight, of course, is driving down Lombard Street, famously known as the “crookedest street in the world,” with its eight sharp turns and beautifully landscaped surroundings . Experiencing it from an open-air vehicle instead of just walking or waiting in a long line of cars made it feel completely unique. You really get a sense of how steep and iconic it is, and the views from the top are incredible. But the tour is much more than just Lombard Street. In 90 minutes, you cover a surprising amount of ground. You cruise through several of San Francisco’s most famous neighborhoods, each with its own personality, while the guide keeps things engaging with a mix of history, local stories, and humor. It never feels like a lecture. It feels like you’re riding around with someone who actually knows and loves the city. Another big plus is the pacing. It moves quickly enough to stay exciting, but there’s still time to take photos and soak it all in. Unlike larger bus tours, you don’t feel rushed or stuck in traffic for long stretches. It’s efficient without feeling compressed. This tour is especially great for first-time visitors or anyone short on time. It gives you a real sense of the city’s layout, its famous landmarks, and its neighborhoods, which makes the rest of your trip easier to plan. After doing this, we had a much better idea of where we wanted to go back and spend more time. The guides really make the experience. Ours was knowledgeable, entertaining, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what they were doing, which made the whole tour feel personal rather than scripted. Overall, the Lombard Leap is a perfect mix of sightseeing and fun. It’s quick, memorable, and different from your typical tour. If you want something that captures the energy of San Francisco while hitting one of its most iconic landmarks, this is absolutely worth doing
