What To Expect

Geyser del Tatio

The journey begins with a 45-minute to 1-hour drive to the entrance of the trail. Upon arrival, pay close attention and be careful when approaching the geysers. Enjoy observing this incredible natural phenomenon while being respectful and cautious. The guides are strict in this area for your safety, but you’ll still have great opportunities to take beautiful photos and videos. After exploring the geothermal field, enjoy a delicious breakfast surrounded by the stunning Andean landscape. On the way back to San Pedro, you’ll make several scenic stops to observe the local wildlife and take in the breathtaking views. Your guide will let you know the best spots and times to capture photos and videos of this unique high-altitude ecosystem. If you’re lucky, you may spot vicuñas, guanacos, Andean flamingos, local ducks, and vizcachas along the way.

I booked both the San Pedro Moon Valley sunset tour and the Geysers sunrise tour a day before and Na Hay reached out with the availability and potential times. Both Na Hay and Keisy were super helpful, contactable and friendly. They planned both tours with very short notice and kept me informed. To be honest the entire process was effortless. They shared the tour details a day before the tours. The sunset tour was amazing. We had cocktails with cheese platters overlooking the valley. The guide waited even longer after the sunset to witness the majestic sky. The Geysers tour was awesome! It was so worth getting up early. The guide was very knowledgeable and spoke very well English. He allowed us enough time to walk around and take pictures. The driver and guide cooked us warm breakfast, which tastes a lot better than some of the hotels. Coffee was superb! I highly recommend booking these tours with those guys! They made the whole experience very enjoyable!
