These magnificent dunes feature soft, white sand that reaches heights of up to 50 meters, creating an awe-inspiring setting for an unforgettable experience.

Average fitness level required - A lot of of walking is involved.

Wear comfortable clothes, closed shoes, long thick socks, sunblock, hat, sunglasses, warm jacket in winter (dress warm in winter and bring a windbreaker/rain jacket). Bring water (min 1L pp). It is important to stay hydrate, especially in summer when it gets really hot at and on the dunes.

Subject to favorable weather conditions. If cancelled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or refund.

Minimum age is 4 years.

Children between 4 and 17 must be accompanied by an adult.

This trip requires a minimum number of guests/travellers in order to operate. If the tour is cancelled because the minimum requirement was not reached, you will be offered a different date or a full refund.

The start time is subject to change and may at times run as a later morning or afternoon trip.

Whether you've shredded snow before or never touched a board, our guides will start you with the basics. We'll cover everything from finding your balance to mastering your stance. You'll be amazed at how quickly you pick it up! After a quick safety briefing upon arrival, the real fun begins. You'll progress to cruising and carving down the slopes at speeds that will definitely get your heart racing. Prepare for the exhilarating rush as you zoom down the dunes! The Atlantis Dunes offer an incredible backdrop for a truly unique and memorable day out. This is your chance to step outside the box and try a totally different kind of board sport! Total Duration: Approx. 4½-5 hrs (INCLUDING travel time, briefing/instruction & sandboarding)

A great half day out, no previous experience necessary. All the equipment you need is supplied, simply turn up, and get started. Was surprisingly faster than we imagined, but also surprisingly easy to pick up (no previous snowboarding or sandboarding experience needed).

We had a great few hours with Toric sand boarding on the sand dunes. He was brilliant with our 2 boys and made it loads of fun for them but also understood that we were more nervous and helped us every step of the way. Brilliant time would thoroughly recommend

My son and i had a great time Sandboarding at the Atlantic dunes. Our guide was super energetic and friendly and helpful. Very convenient being picked up and dropped off right at our hotel! Would recommend!

My family did the sandboarding with Taariq … I wasn’t sure what to expect but Taariq was by far the best tour guide/instructor we have had. Taariq made sandboarding easy to understand and fun for a few hours. Taariq was even impressed by my son Aiden and took him to the bigger dune for more speed. I would recommend asking for Taariq when booking this activity.

This is about their service as we didn't end up doing the sandboarding. Note: they are very responsive here, not so much via e-mail. We made a booking. They informed us right away that the activity needed a certain amount of participants. They kept trying and informing us the status throughout the days. When we decided we didn't want to wait another day and risk not having anything planned, they refunded us right away.
