5.00This is an incredible, especially if you are visiting on a cruise ship! For people of all ages and physical mobility since most of the time you are riding in a vehicle. The scenery is impressive, the ride up and down the dunes is thrilling and the lunch buffet was amazing! Our driver/guide, Leon, was incredibly knowledgeable of the area, the dunes, animals and birds, so the ride was not only fun, it was informative. Less than a half-hour from the port to the sands and seaside. In addition to lunch, MC Tours offers water, soda and beer at the occasional photo stops on the dunes. If you are looking for an exceptional experience without the cruise ship excursion markup, this is one you should strongly consider!

5.00Mike (and Chantel) gave us an amazing half day dune experience this morning! Picked up on time at our accommodation in a Toyota Fortuner and then spent the next 4/5 hours exploring - wildlife, dunes, photo moments, laughs, snacks and a great ride! Mike was a superb tour guide/operator/highly skilled driver! Would recommend to anyone visiting Walvis Bay.

5.00This dune tour is 100% recommended. We had a great driver (unfortunately I don't remember the name, only that he lives in Walvis Bay in a grey house with blue window frames, sorry), He's been in the dunes for over 13 years and knows his way around. He takes a lot of time. If you wanted to stop for a photo , that was easily possible. He also explained a lot. We were in the car with another couple and we were all absolutely thrilled and had a great day. Thank you so much.

5.00We were in Walvis Bay with the Aidastella in January and had already booked the 4x4 Jeep Tour in advance at My Shore Excursions. The local provider Sandwich Harbour Tours picked us up right at the port. We had a fantastic morning with our guide Michael, who spoke perfect German and told us a lot about flora and fauna. The ride went up and down the dunes and was very adventurous. Afterwards there was a picnic on the beach before heading back to the ship.

5.00Great adventure experience with the 4×4 SUVs to drive up and down the big dunes. We have seen pelicans flamingos, springboks and desert foxes. A sparkling wine in hand and a great picnic by the dunes with a view of the sea was very romantic.

5.00A fantastic experience. We were very well looked after from start to end. The views are spectacular and we had the added bonus of wildlife spotting on the way to the main dune experience. It was all finished off with some lovely lunch and bubbles. Thank you for a day we won't forget!
