I absolutely loved the tour. The scenery of Sandwich Harbour was exotic and I think it is a must-visit place. And the guide was really professional. I was able to see everywhere satisfactorily because he adjusted the destinations according to the weather and the time of day. Needless to say, his driving skills were professional, and because he was born and raised in Namibia for a long time, his explanation was also very detailed, so I was able to understand not only all the places I visited, but also the explanations of each animals and plants and the history of national parks. The first place I visited was the salt farm near Walvis Bay. As I climbed the nearby sand dune, I was told why salt farms and pink salts were made. In the process of moving to a national park, it not only explained changes in the natural landscape, such as the change in the location of the national park and the movement of dunes due to natural phenomena, but also provided additional explanations for various animals and plants that could be encountered in the process of moving. He also tried to find animals such as Springbok, Orix, and jackal for me, and succeeded. On the way, I saw four Springboks and four jackals, excluding numerous seals, and this was very interesting.

What a day we’ve had! We were picked up by Lukas for the Sandwich Harbour tour, and wow — what a tour! From the very beginning, Lukas went out of his way to make it the best day possible. The scenery was absolutely marvellous — the sea was stunning, and we were lucky enough to see whales, seals, and flamingos. Lukas explained everything so well, sharing his knowledge and passion for the area. To top it off, we enjoyed wine and a few snacks right there in the desert — an experience that felt almost magical. The only thing I can say is: you’ve got to see it to believe it! Thankyou

What an awesome experience - made all the better for meeting our terrific guide and driver Michael and our two beautiful new friends from Italy. Michael met us as the port and we picked up our fellow traveler's and our adventure began. We visited the salt field where Michael shared a wealth of information on this Industry. Michael continued to answer all of our questions about Namibia, its culture, economics, sports, history and geology as we drove along the beach snapping a few pics of the pink flamingos, seals and a jackals as we headed towards the sand dunes. The views were spectacular from each of the vantage points we visited, we watched the sea mist role in and spotted Springboks as we picnicked and drank some local beer and wine. We were sad to return to the ship as we had such a great time. The tour operator was responsive and flexible as our plans changed several time prior to arriving in port. Our guide Michael made our day, he was genuinely proud to be a Namibian and by the end of the afternoon we felt like we had known him for ever.
