Join us for a full day adventure up the Sani Pass into Lesotho in a 4X4 guided vehicle! Climb the world famous Sani Pass to 2874 metres above sea level, stopping for lunch at the Highest Pub in Africa and then onto visiting a living Basotho Village in Skeering, Lesotho. We look forward to seeing you!
After lunch the tour continues into a living Basotho village, where your experienced mountain guide will interest you on Lesotho and its people. Traditional beer and homemade bread offered on request.
You will wind down the Sani Pass after this cultural experience and arrive back in Underberg between 4pm - 4:30pm, depending on the wildlife spotted along the way.

Sani Pass
Traverse the Sani Pass and stop along the way at different view sites. Stopping at the South African and Lesotho Border posts , so valid Passports are essential. Enjoy lunch at the highest pub in Africa and visit a local Basotho Village - Skeering.

5.00We’ve done the tour with Sami pass tours , organised by Camäleon Reisen. It‘s been quite an experience driving up (off-road - street ist full of rocks. Sand. Etc ) with Frank all the way up. To Lesotho. Very adventurous. Our Guide Frank was a fantastic driver and guide and we felt safe all the time. A journey you will not forget.

5.00Wow, what an amazing experience. Bongani's driving skills and warm personality made him a perfect guide. We always felt safe in his hands. Lunch was great, would have just preferred to have it in the pub itself, but I understand that reservations are hard to get as it is extremely popular. This experience should be on everyone's Bucket List

3.00The tour through sani pass was nice, luckily we had some clear air and sun on our way up. The guide did enough effort at first to give us information about everything down the road. Unfortunately we didn't get to the pub on the top (as advertised) neither where we informed about not going there.. it was actually part of the reason we joined. Also because we left off quite late, we were in a bit of a rush at the Village and lunch part. So it feels like just an average experience unfortunately. Not worth the money that day for us, better luck wished to other People!

5.00Amazing day, from nature and amazing views to the cozy village and stories the guide told us and finally the nice lunch at the highest pub in Africa. I was initially a bit concerned it would be too touristic but not at all, it’s very simple and low profile. And I enjoyed very much the experience.
